Recycling Center Field Trip
We will be doinginteresting activities that focus on reducing, reusing and recycling!  If you have already signed up to chaperone the fieldtrip to the recycling center, we will see you on Wednesday.  The bus leaves at 10:15am.

Rock Collections
We collected rocks at the end of the week from the playground area.  Students compared their rocks to pictures of rocks on the computer.  We looked at pictures of rocks that were igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic.  We talked about the different characteristics that made their rocks unique.  We will continue our study of rocks as we begin to study landforms.

Solid ~ Liquid ~ Gas
The children cut out magazine pictures that were solids, liquids and gasses. They categorized them on astate of matter chart.  Many of them are displayed outside the classroom now!
