HOBBIES
My hobbies may seem bit unusual to others but they are my favourite pas times.
My most favourite hobby is 'day dreaming'. Though most of the people believe that it is of no use but it has proved to be quite beneficial for me as it has always enhanced my power of imagination. This enhanced power of imagination brings to my mind new thoughts and ideas. As writing on different topics is also one of my hobbies, so whenever day dreaming brings something to my mind, I try to capture it in words. This way day dreaming polishes my writing skills as well.
One of my creations is:
FOR THE ONES I LOVE
The colourful butterflies on the blossoming flowers,
The singing birds in the raining showers,
The lush green sights in the echoing valleys,
The marine species in the far stretched seas,
Sharing with you some sweet scented words of love,
Added to my life these colours of beauty.
Apart from this, concentrating on the personalities of people I come across in my daily life is also my hobby. Actually I always try to adopt the positive points of the people I meet because this helps me improve myself.
Being a science student I have studied Chemistry and I really enjoy the colourful world of practical chemistry. I love doing chemistry practicals and this has twice made me do some experiments at home as well. Once I took some water that was left after rice were boiled in it and I added to it hydrogen peroxide. It was a great pleasure for me to see that a curdy white precipitate appeared. I hope that was because starch reacted with hydrogen peroxide. This hobby may seem funny to people but this has always made me understand the properties of the chemicals quite thoroughly.
My other
favourite pas times are reading newspaper, articles, books mostly dealing with
human psychology, watching television and communicating with my friends over the
telephone or via e-mails.
