Suicune ran through the forest, with incredible speed. She heard the sound from the helicopter, but hoped that the trees covered her. Suddenly, she saw a Pidgey. Stopping immediately, she looked at it. Her stomach turned around. The first food since two weeks! But she had to get some help...and if she was too weak, she may get captured again.
Without a noise, she crawled near the Pidgey. It dug in the grass, searching for worms. When Suicune was ready to jump, the helicopter came back. The Pidgey was terrible frightened and flew away.
"Damn it!", Suicune mumbled and jumped high in the air, catching the small bird in mid-air. It let out a loud cry and escaped before Suicune landed. One wing was bleeding and it tottered through the air. Without thinking, Suicune used Water gun. The Pidgey was hit and fall down to the ground. But the Water gun went higher and hit the helicopter as well! Immediately a search-light went to Suicune. She blinked when the light dazzled her. This gave the Rocket helicopter enough time to open the fire. Suicune spotted a man with a machine-gun when the bullets hit the ground near her.
She started running like never in her life, forgetting about the fallen Pidgey and her hunger.
The forest gave her some protection, but the search-light was always near her. She hoped that the territory wasn't demarcated with a fence. But it came even worse. Suddenly the forest ended and a huge plain was in front of the running Pok�mon. Suicune tried to run in zigzag-lines, but the bullets hit the ground nearer and nearer. She was exhausted and tripped over a stone. Immediately she stood up, but she was too slow. Some bullets hit her in the leg. Suicune screamed in pain, but limped forward and saw a fence. If she could reach it....she was sure that the enemy wouldn't follow her after it.
With the last of her strength, she reached it. But she still had to reach the other side. Suicune was about to start climbing when she saw a notice-board:
Danger! High voltage!
She shook her head in despair. The only way to reach the other side was jumping. Even with best health it would be difficult, but in her condition... But she had to try! Suddenly, everything was quiet, the helicopter stopped shooting. Suicune smiled and guessed that they had to search for new bullets. This was her chance!
She took a deep breath and jumped. Everything she saw was in a slow motion when she flew over the fence. Suicune couldn't believe it when her front legs landed at the ground. But then a scream of pain escaped her when her already wounded hind leg touched the electric hedge. She nearly felt unconscious, but managed it to crawl behind a bush.
The helicopter flew around for a few more minutes, but then Suicune heard that the noise from it went smaller and smaller. Then, it was quiet and Suicune looked through the foliage. The helicopter wasn't there, but she was sure that the criminals would come back by foot in a few more minutes. So she stood up and limped forward, with every step everything went black before her eyes and she refused to look at her legs when she felt the blood running down.
A few minutes later she reached a street and decided to walk along it. Then it started raining and cold winds blew into her face. The rain was hurting her, but Suicune went on. "I'm the last hope...I must free the others...", she mumbled between heavy breaths. But her last strength had left her now and she collapsed at the ground. She knew she was dying. "I'm...so...sorry...Articuno...Moltres...Mewtwo...so...sorry..:"
Suddenly, she heard steps. Suicune hoped that she died now, dying seemed ways better than serving Team Rocket. But when the steps reached her, she saw a young girl with long, curled brown hair and green eyes. For a moment, Suicune was sure that she was an angel which had come to take her to heaven.
"Hey, are you ok?", the girl asked.
"Please...help...my leg...Team Rocket...", Suicune whispered.
Then, everything went black.

Meanwhile.....
Articuno counted down....five....four...three...two...one....
"Mew mew mew mew, mew mew? (Suicune is ok, isn't she?)"
Mewtwo let out an angry scream. "How should I know? Please, be quiet!", he yelled at the frightened, small Pok�mon. Mew, in state of shock, flew behind Moltres who was sleeping again.
"Arti cuno cuno cu? (Aren't you concerned, too?)", Articuno asked Mewtwo.
"If Suicune dies, I don't care. I just want to escape. I'm getting crazy in this room!" Zapdos' feathers prickled with electricity when he went to Mewtwo.
"Zap zap dos? Dos zap zap dos dos! (How could you say this? Suicune risks her life for us!)" Mewtwo mumbled something and turned around. Zapdos, satisfied that he won the 'battle' against the mighty psychic Pok�mon and went to the sobbing Mew.
"Zap zap...dos dos zap. (Don't cry...she'll come back safe.)"
Mew nodded and hugged the yellow bird which let out a purring-like sound. Articuno shook his head.
"Arti arti cu cuno... (we just can wait for her...)"

Suicune woke up and a bright light dazzled her.
"Am I...dead?", she whispered.
"No, you aren't!", a voice said and the girl which had rescued her stepped to her. "After you went unconscious, I phoned nurse Joy and she saved you." "Thank you...what is with my legs?", Suicune asked weakly. The girl smiled. "Joy said that you must have fought with an electric Pok�mon. But she also said that some bullets were in your left leg. What happened? You said something about Team Rocket, what's that?" "Team Rocket is an organisation of criminals. They capture rare Pok�mon for their boss, Giovanni. I've heard that he is a gym leader, but I don't know it for sure. They've caught me and five other rare Pok�mon and locked us into a room to weaken us. I haven't eaten for two weeks. Well, we've found a way to escape, we dug a hole. I speak the human language, so I went out to get help, but when I tried to get some food, a helicopter found me and shoot at me, my leg was hit. I limped forward until I reached the border of their area, an electric hedge. I jumped, but when I landed my hind legs touched it. Then, the helicopter flew away and I reached the street. But this used my last strength and I collapsed when you've found me...."
"I see...you have to call the police."
"No...then, everyone will come to see what is happening and I'm sure that someone will capture me." Suddenly, something flashed through her mind. "Will you capture me?" The girl laughed. "No, I'm not a trainer. I know barely something about Pok�mon. But what will you do now?" "I have no idea. Wait...I know it sounds crazy, but can you help me?" The girl gasped. "Are you crazy? Fighting against a huge organisation of criminals? I'm just 15 years old! You can't mean what you say!" Suicune looked down. "Sorry...but I don't know what to do." She began crying. The girl pet her. "I really want to help you, but I have no idea how...."
Suddenly, nurse Joy came in.
"Oh, Suicune! You are awake! Here, are you hungry?" She showed a plate with meat on it. Suicune forgot about her problems. "Food!", she yelled happy and tried to jump out of the bed, but when her hind legs touched the ground she whimpered and fall back.
"No, you can't move now!", Joy said and ran to the Pok�mon, pushing Suicune down. "I'm so hungry.."
The girl smiled and reached for a piece of meat. "Here, I'll feed you." Suicune smiled happy and took the meat. In a few minutes, the plate was empty.
"Still hungry?", the nurse asked. Suicune nodded and Joy went out to get more food. Suddenly, the girl giggled. "What's wrong?", Suicune ask. "Well, I've changed my decision. I'll help you. But I'm sure 'help' is the wrong word. I'll just be in your way." Suicune started licking her hand. "Oh thank you thank you thank you! But what changed your mind?" "Well, I live in a orphanage, even if I'm not an orphan. My parents just liked my sister more than me, so I ran away. But my life isn't much better in the orphanage, the other kids make fun of me and the collaborators are cruel. I should have been back at 6pm, but now it's past midnight. I'm sure they'll punish me very hard. Team Rocket can't be worse, I guess. My life isn't worth a cent, death means nothing to me." Suicune licked her hands more. "Don't say things like that. Without you, I would be dead now. I owe you much." "No, you don't. And helping you now gives my life a sense!" Suicune smiled. "I'm sure, everything will be ok now. Just wait." She thought about something. "After everything you've done for me, I don't even know your name...." The girl smiled. "It's Sephia." "Thank you for everything, Sephia." "Thank me when your friends are free." Suicune nodded, tears of happiness in her eyes. She had never thought that she would ever find a human friend which wouldn't capture her.
Joy came back, with more food. Sephia took it from her. "Say, Joy, when can Suicune leave the Pok�mon centre?", she asked. Joy thought about it for a few seconds.
"I used a Full Restore, but I think she should stay here for two more days." Sephia nodded and Suicune looked down.
"Please, Articuno, Mewtwo, wait for me..."
