| Searching for the destiny - Chapter 15: To be a master Sephia yawned. It was already dark outside and the professor was running around her friends, always writing down something. Mewtwo looked annoyed and the other Pokmon ignored him. Then, Mew flew to Sephia. 'I'm tired! I wanna sleep!', she said. Sephia smiled and turned to the professor. "Prof. Oak, Mew is tired and I am, too." The professor turned around. "Yes, I see. Hey Mew, do you want a room just for you?", he asked the small Pokmon. Mew shook her head and grabbed Sephias arm. 'I want to have a room with Sephia!', she said. Mewtwo mumbled something and Mew flew to him. 'Sorry Mewtwo, next time we'll share a room like in the cave.' Mewtwo nodded. "What has she said?", Prof. Oak asked. "She want to share a room with me", Sephia explained. "Ok, please follow me", he said and the seven friends were guided into another hall with many doors. Prof. Oak gave them some keys. "Everything you need is in the rooms!", he said and Sephia nodded. Then, she turned around to her Pokmon. "Ok, I think it's the best when we go to sleep now, we'll start our journey tomorrow." The Pokmon nodded and opened their rooms. Sephia turned the lights on and closed the door. It was a small room, but with beautiful, velvet furniture. The bed was small, but soft. "Ah, finally I can sleep in a bed again!", Sephia smiled and laid down. 'Where can I sleep?', Mew asked and looked around. Sephia sat up again and opened the cupboards. She found a pyjama for herself and a big basket. She took it out. "Here, Mew!", she said. She went into the small bathroom and took some soft handkerchiefs. Mew purred and helped her and together they made a small bed in the basket. "Is this ok?", Sephia asked and Mew nodded. Then the little pink Pokmon opened another cupboard next to the bed. 'Books! Books!', Mew shouted and Sephia stepped to her. 'Please, read a story aloud, I can sleep better then!', Mew begged. Sephia smiled and took some books out. "What about this?", she asked and showed Mew a book. "There are Pokmon legends in it." 'Yes! I like fairy tales!', Mew shouted exited. Sephia laughed. "Ok, I'll just brush my teeth and put the pyjama on, then I'll read aloud." Mew nodded and flew into her bed. Sephia took the pyjama and walked into the bathroom. Five minutes later, she came out and put her clothes on a chair. Then, she walked to Mew and grabbed the book. "Ok, let's look...." She flipped through the pages and searched a good story. Finally, she found a page with a picture on it. It showed two flying Pokmon. Sephia gave Mew the book. "Do you know these Pokmon?", she asked and Mew looked at the picture. 'Yes, this are the two guardians, the guardian of the sea and the guardian of the air. They are called Lugia and Ho-oh.', Mew told her friend. "Wow", Sephia said and looked at the picture again. The bird Mew had called Lugia was white and blue, with a long neck and tail. The other bird was smaller, but its feathers were colourful. "So let's look what is written here", Sephia said and started reading. "'Before all Pokmon were born, the guardians existed yet. They are as old as time and space. Lugia, the sea guardian, makes the two tides and takes care for the balance between sea and mainland. Ho-oh, the air guardian, creates different climates and the exchange between the sun and the rain. Without them, no life could exist on our planet. They lived in peace with the humans for thousands of years. But then, the humans started catching and training the Pokmon. The guardians, afraid that they would be caught, flew away, just leaving a message in a stone: Humans, you long for our power, but you don't deserve them. You invented the machines called TMs, so we'll build one of them, too. Now, build 100 gyms, not more, not less. The trainer who will come to Lugia with 100 badges may battle against her, but just one time, for the Mystery Badge. If the trainer wins, he may battle Ho-oh for the Rainbow Badge. If the trainer lose, he will lose the Mystery Badge as well. But if he wins, he may fight a final battle for the God Badge. If he wins, he deserve the ultimate power. The guardian of the sea will scream a message in the heart of every Pokmon and every Pokmon will obey this trainer. He will get the TM of the guardians. This TM contains an attack which will defeat every Pokmon with one hit and no Pokmon, no matter how fast it is, can avoid it. This attack is called Ultimate Chaos. So this trainer will be the best trainer on this planet, the Great Master.'" Sephia finished the story, closed the book and took a deep breath. She looked at Mew. The small Pokmon wasn't asleep. 'Sephia, do you think the story is true?', she asked. "I don't know, Mew. You think what I think, right? This could be the quest we waited for..." Mew agreed. Sephia stood up. "Ok, I'll ask Mewtwo." She ran out of the room and knocked on Mewtwos door. "Yes?" Who's there?", an angry voice came from inside. "Mewtwo? It's me, Sephia. Maybe I've found a way how we can be the best team in the world, without having thousands of fans around us every minute!", she shouted and the door opened. "How can this be possible?", Mewtwo asked and Sephia stepped in the room. It looked exactly like 'her' room. She gave him the book and he read the legend. "Do you think it's true?", he asked. "I don't know. Maybe. But since you need just eight badges for fighting against the Elite Four, I think it would be great if we would have 100 badges." Mewtwo thought about it. "Yes...right..." Finally, he smiled. "Ok, go to bed and get some sleep, I'll talk with the others." "Shouldn't I help you?" "No, you need your sleep more than I do. Just go." Sephia nodded. "Ok, good night then." "Yes, good night." She stepped out and closed the door. Sephia went to her room and walked to Mew. She told the Pokmon what Mewtwo had said. 'This would be funny!', Mew shouted and Sephia smiled. "Yes, Mew. But now, let's sleep." She turned the lights off and laid down. Finally, she fell into a deep sleep. She woke up when Mew nuzzled her. Slowly, Sephia opened one eye. 'Let's go!', the small Pokmon shouted in her ear. 'We have to get 100 badges!' Sephia yawned and sat up. "Huh? We have to ask the others first!", Sephia mumbled, still sleepy. 'I asked them!', Mew said. 'We want to try it! All of us want to try it!' Now Sephia was excited, too. "Really? That's great!" She grabbed her clothes and ran into the bathroom and came out a few minutes later. "Then, let's go!" Mew squeaked happily and they went out of the room. The five other Pokmon were standing in the hall, together with Prof. Oak. "Ah, Sephia!", the professor said. "I have heard what you want to do. I don't think that there was a trainer who got 100 badges. You would be the first one. I don't know if the legend is true, but some people say that Lugia lives on an island south of Olivine City." Suicune stepped to them. "Prof. Oak said that there is a gym in Viridian City and if we hurry, we can be there in three hours." The professor nodded and gave Sephia a small package. "Here is some breakfast for you. Your Pokmon have already eaten something", he said. "Thank you, professor!", Sephia answered and put the breakfast in her bag. "By the way, do you want to make this outfit your trainer-outfit?" "Huh?", Sephia said confused. "Every trainer chooses a special outfit. He or she wears this every time he walks through the land as a trainer." 'How stupid!', Articuno mumbled and the other Pokmon agreed. "Uh...do I have to follow this rule?", Sephia asked. The professor nodded. "O well, I think I'll buy a new one then. Even if I love this jacket." The professor smiled. "Yes, a good decision. The jacket looks like the jacket from Lance, the dragon master. I think it's better if you buy a new outfit." Sephia blushed and the Pokmon giggled. "Huh? Did I miss something?", the professor asked confused. "No, no, no!", Sephia answered fast. "Uh, but I think I don't have money..." 'You said this before!', Zapdos said. 'But what have you done with the money you get from Bruno?!' The others nodded and Sephia gasped. "Yes, right! I totally forgot it! Then we have money! Hey Mew, we can buy cookies, too!", she shouted. 'Yay!', squeaked the little Pokmon. "I have no idea what happened, but there is a store for trainer clothes down the street", the professor mentioned. Sephia smiled. "Thank you. I think we'll go now, if we have to buy new clothes we'll need even more time to reach Viridian City." The seven friends walked to the exit. "Good Luck!", the professor shouted when they started walking down the steps. They waved good-bye and walked down the street. "Do you think it's ok when we are not in our Pokballs?", Suicune asked. Sephia nodded. "This is just a small city and I would be a bad trainer if I would force you to stay in the balls the whole day." She turned around. "Just one more thing: You know that I'm very happy that you are following me. But maybe you'll recognise later that you like the independence more than being a Pokmon with a trainer. Please, just tell me if you think so. Every Pokmon deserve freedom, if you ask me for it, I'll let you free without a discussion." The Pokmon smiled and Mew hugged her. 'You are the best trainer a Pokmon can have!', Moltres said and the others nodded, even Mewtwo. Sephia blinked the tears of happiness away and they continued their way until they found the shop. "Ok, will you help me to find an outfit!?", Sephia asked and the Pokmon nodded happily. They stepped in the store. A woman with long, brown hair and a red dress came out of a room. She gasped when she saw the Pokmon. "How...how can I help you?", she asked a little bit afraid. "We need a trainer-outfit.", Mewtwo said and pointed to Sephia. "Oh...ok, are you looking for something special?", the woman asked. "We need something for the new master!", Suicune shouted and the others nodded. Sephia smiled embarrassed. "Uh, actually I search something elegant, maybe with a cape, I must train and walk and fly in it." "Ok, a special colour?" "Everything except yellow, white or orange." The woman walked to a shelve and took some clothes out. "How about them?" It was a long, blue dress, a black trouser and a green shirt. "Yeah, I'll try!", Sephia said, took the clothes and walked into the dressing-room. A few minutes later she stepped out, wearing the dress. She looked to the mirror. "No, that's nothing for me", she said and the Pokmon nodded. Sephia changed clothes again and came out with the trouser and the shirt. "That's better!", she said and turned to her Pokmon. 'That's not an outfit for a master!', Moltres said and the others agreed. "O well...have you other clothes for me?", Sephia asked and looked at the woman. "Yes." She handed Sephia a pullover with a long, velvet trouser, a violet skirt and a long, brown coat. Sephia took the clothes and walked into the dressing-room again. Finally, she came out in the skirt, but still wearing the green shirt. "The pullover is ways too warm in summer and I look like a beggar in the coat", she said and gave the clothes to the woman. "But this is nice", she said. 'No, still nothing for a master!', Zapdos said. Sephia sighed. "If you are that fastidious, we'll need hours to find something!", she said. ****** Three hours later: "This is the last thing we have - and the most expensive. It's a complete outfit, with shoes and gloves. But I don't think it's something for you...", the woman said exhausted. "I'll wear everything if they are satisfied!", Sephia mumbled and took the clothes. They were searching for hours now and Sephia was more than hungry. Finally, she stepped out of the dressing-room. "Perfect!", shouted Mewtwo. "Wonderful!", said Suicune. 'Yay!', squeak Mew and the birds nodded. "NO!", yelled Sephia. "NEVER! I look like a bitch!" "You look great!", the woman said, nearly collapsing. Sephia looked in the mirror once again. "This is a swimsuit and not a trainer-outfit!", she said. She wear a purple 'swimsuit', in fact it was more some kind of underwear because it wasn't completely closed up, it had a hexagonal opening at the stomach. The straps were lighter and a purple-red cape was fastened on them, Sephia also wear a purple crown, purple, long gloves and purple boots, made of some stuff-like material, nearly up to the upper thigh. "I'm ways too fat for wearing that!", she tried again. 'You're not fat! It fits perfectly!', Moltres said. "But I can't put the Pokballs here!" "No, look here", the woman said and pointed at the clothes. "Here is other material, the Pokballs will cling here." "And you said that it is expensive." "Yes, it's 1600 Pokdollar." "And it's cold in winter!", Sephia said. "Use a long coat!", Suicune answered. Sephia sighed. "Ok, you say that this is the perfect outfit for me!?" All Pokmon nodded. "Oh great. Ok, ok, stop annoying me, I'll buy it. But if someone says that I look like a bitch, I'll buy new clothes, even if this stupid trainer-outfit rule doesn't allow it, ok?" The Pokmon nodded again. Sephia gave the money to the woman. "Thank you and...come again", she answered, but Sephia was sure that she didn't mean was she said. Then, the seven friends left the shop. "Ok, now it's lunch time and I'll eat my breakfast now!", Sephia said. 'Ok, I'll catch some food for us!', Articuno shouted and flew up in the sky. The others sat down at some stones and waited for Articuno who returned just a few minutes later with three Goldeens. Sephia was glad that she had her own breakfast when the others ate the fish. When they finished the meal, they continued their way, this time they went north to Viridian City. Before walking out of Pallet Town, they met the old man who showed them the ways to Professor Oak again. He stared at the Pokmon. "Wow, I never knew that Professor Oak has such Pokmon...", he mumbled. "Oh no, I caught them", Sephia laughed. "So you are a trainer?" "Yes, now I am." "Wow, that's a really nice trainer-outfit! You look like a Pokmon Master!" Sephia looked at the man. "You don't think I look like a bitch?" "No, you look great!", the man answered. The Pokmon laughed. "We told you!", Suicune smiled. "Yeah...", Sephia sighed and waved good-bye to the old man when they finally started their journey. To be continued... ****** Comments? Ideas? Please review! Empress [email protected] |
