Searching for the destiny - Chapter 13: A Pokball doesn't make a trainer

Sephia looked up after they had finished their meal.
"Ok, where will we go now?", she asked.
'Buying cookies! Buying cookies!', shouted Mew. Sephia smiled.
"Sorry, Mew, we don't have any money."
Mew whimpered and Sephia hugged her.
"Don't worry, Mew. There are lots of trainers and all of them have money. So I think if we win a battle, we'll get money!"
Mew nodded and flew up, resting on Sephias head.
'So what do we have to do now?', asked Moltres. 'I mean, you are a trainer now. What are you supposed to do all day?'
Sephia thought about it. " I dunno very much about Pokmon. I think we have to win badges or something like that."
"I've heard when a trainer has eight badges, he can fight the Elite Four and if he wins, he is the champ", Suicune added.
"Yeah, and crowd of humans will watch us every day! I hate humans!", Mewtwo growled. "Hey Sephia, we won't do this champ thing, right? Can't we blast a mountain or something so that the humans will adore us?"
Sephia smiled. "No, Mewtwo. But I agree, I don't like being between too many humans, too. Maybe there's another thing we can do."
Zapdos grinned a little bit. 'But you know, Sephia, if you are the champ, you live together with the Elite Four - this includes Lance.'
Sephia turned bright red and Articuno and Suicune started to giggle. Mew looked confused and jumped down from Sephias head.
'If we are the champs, will we get some cookies?', she asked curiously. Now everybody laughed, even Mewtwo.
"I think a trainer has to train his Pokmon, too", Sephia said, still laughing.
"HOW have you ever figured out THIS?", said Mewtwo with an ironic voice.
"I think winning a badge would be a good training", interrupted Suicune.
'We should give it a try!', Zapdos shouted excited with a beat of wings. The others nodded and all of them stood up.
"Ah...Sephia..."
"Yes, Suicune?"
"Do you know how to fight with Pokmon? I mean, you don't know our attacks."
Sephia looked surprised. "Yeah you're right. So, tell me your attacks."
They looked at each other.
"I have my attacks, but I have no idea how the humans call them", said Mewtwo finally. "But it doesn't matter. I hate it when someone wants to boss me around!"
Sephia nodded. "So let's look for a gym. I think you are strong enough to beat the leader and I can watch him how he or she commands his Pokmon." Mewtwo nodded. "Is it ok for you when Mewtwo fights?", Sephia asked the others. They nodded.
'Let's go!', shouted Articuno and flew up.
'Wait!', said Moltres. 'We are still legendary and if someone sees us, we'll have thousands of reporters around us.'
Articuno slowed down. 'You're right, sorry. It seems that we'll often be in the Pokballs from now on.' Mewtwo growled something.
"I'm sorry, Mewtwo", Sephia said, truly sorry. "But if you wanna be my Pokmon, it's the only way to hide your rarity."
"Alright, alright!", Mewtwo growled. "If you fly on one of the birds, we'll be in the next city fast, so use this damn ball!"
Sephia smiled. "Thank you", she said and took out the balls. "So will someone fly me?" She turned around to the birds.
'My feathers are sharp, I think. Maybe it'll hurt if you fly on me', Zapdos said.
'Well, you wanted to fly, right Articuno. So fly if you want!', smiled Moltres.
'Thank you!', answered Articuno happily. Sephia nodded.
"Ready?", she asked. The five other Pokmon went to her and Sephia let them disappear in their Pokballs. Then, she climbed on Articunos back and the ice bird flew up.
"Let's fly above the clouds!", Sephia shouted excited. Articuno flew higher and higher and Sephia felt a little dizzy. She closed her eyes when the wind hit her in the face.
'Take care and don't fall down!', Articuno yelled. Sephia gulped and adhered to his soft feathers even more.
"Where will we fly?", she screamed, trying to drown the sound of the blowing wind.
'Back to Saffron City. It is a big city, I think there'll be a gym!'
Sephia answered nothing, she just tried to stay on the back of her friend.

30 minutes later, they reached Saffron City again. Articuno went into his Pokball and Sephia went through the streets. Finally, she gave up finding the gym and asked a person.
"Excuse me, where can I find the gym here?"
The girl who she asked turned around. "Oh, just go the street down and then left. But don't you want to battle me first?" She showed Sephia four Pokballs. Sephia began sweating.
"Oh...I haven't fought a battle before. Well, if you wanna know, I started being a trainer just a few hours ago. So..um, maybe that's not a good idea, it seems that you train your Pokmon since a long time."
"Wow, just a few hours ago? How did you get here from Pallet Town THAT fast?", the other trainer asked impressed. Sephia was confused.
"Pallet Town? I don't come from Pallet Town!"
"Huh? So how do you want to be a trainer if Prof. Oak hasn't given you a Pokmon?"
"Uh, I dunno who Prof. Oak is, but...a Pokmon followed me for a few days now and a few hours ago, it agreed to follow me forever. So I caught it and now I'm a trainer." This was at least half the truth and the girl believed Sephia.
"Oh, you don't know much about Pokmon, do you?", she asked.
"No, not very much", Sephia admitted.
"You have to go to Prof. Oak first, even if you already have a Pokmon. To say it correctly, you are a criminal. You are not allowed to have a Pokmon if you aren't a registered trainer. And Prof. Oak is the only person who can register you. All trainers start their journey in Pallet Town when Prof. Oak gives them a Pokmon."
"So I have to go to Prof. Oak first?"
"You got it!"
"And where is Pallet Town?"
"If you go north, you'll reach Cerulean City. Go through Mt. Moon to Pewter City, then south to Viridian City and again south to reach Pallet Town. This'll keep you for one week, I think."
Sephia gasped. "That long? Uh...my Pokmon can fly. Can't I take a more direct Route if I fly?"
"A flying Pokmon that can carry you?! Wow, you are lucky! So you have a rare Pokmon like a Pidgeot, right?"
"Hehe...well, not exactly a Pidgeot..."
"A Fearow? Well, however, if you fly directly west, you'll reach Celadon City. Fly further west and..you'll find the road between Pewter City and Viridian City, I think. Then just fly south."
"Thank you. This helps a lot!", Sephia said happily.
"Just train your Pokmon good, if a strong Pokmon like a huge bird follows you, it must really trust you."
"All right! I promise!"
"Then go, if your Pokmon can fly fast, you'll reach Pallet Town in about...four hours."
"Thanks again!" Sephia waved goodbye and started running out of the city. Finally outside again, she released Articuno and told him the situation.
'No problem. The girl thought that I am a Pidgeot or a Fearow?'
"Yes. But actually, you are much cuter and stronger!" She hugged the bird.
'And you are the greatest trainer in the world! Now, let's fly!'
Sephia climbed on his back once again and he flew up.

It was already noon when they landed near Pallet Town.
"
Sephia! What the hell is going on?!", a voice suddenly asked in her head.
"
Oh, Mewtwo! You're calling me at the right time! You see, I have to get a trainer-permission first, so I flew with Articuno to Pallet Town", she answered in thoughts.
"
Ok, then get the permission now. You can call me by thoughts if you have problems."
Then, Mewtwo was quiet. Sephia called Articuno back into the ball again and started walking through Pallet Town. It was a nice little village with many trees and just a few houses. Sephia enjoyed the silence after the howling wind and the noisy city.
Finally, she met a human, an old man.
"Excuse me, can you tell me where Prof. Oak lives?", Sephia asked friendly. The man smiled.
"Sure, young lady. Look!" He pointed to a house with a windmill which stood on top of a hill. "This is Prof. Oaks house!"
Sephia nodded. "Thank you!", she said and started walking towards the hill. When she reached it, she looked up. A very long staircase led to the house.
"Wow, is this a test to see if the new trainers are ready for their journey?", Sephia muttered when she walked up step by step. Ten minutes later, she stood in front of the door, completely exhausted. She breathed deep and knocked on the door. Nothing happened. But then, the door opened suddenly.
"Hello?!", the girl shouted when she walked into a big hall.
"Hello!", a voice said and a man with grey hair and a white smock came out of a door.
"Hello. I'm Sephia. You are Prof. Oak?"
"Oh, yes, I am. Please follow me, you can help me." He walked away and Sephia, confused, followed him. The professor led her to another exit and when she stepped outside again, she could look at a beautiful field. It was surrounded by a wood in the west and some small mountains in the east.
"Wow!", Sephia whispered impressed.
"Nice, isn't it?", the professor said and gave her a package with some food. "Feed the water Pokmon there!" He pointed to a little lake in the north. Sephia nodded and walked to the water.
When she arrived, many Goldeens and two Psyducks came to the surface.
"Oh...hi!", Sephia said nervously. The Psyducks walked out of the water when they saw that Sephia had food.
'Psyduck! Psyduck!', they shouted and Sephia gave them some of the food. Satisfied, the two Pokmon jumped back into the water. Now the Goldeens felt left out and splashed in the water. Sephia threw the remaining food in the lake and headed back to the professor.
"Oh, good! Now you can fix the broken door!", he said. Sephia got angry.
"Listen, professor. I'm not here to do your work!" Professor Oak turned around.
"No? Why are you here?"
Sephia shook her head. "Do you really believed that I came for helping you?"
The professor smiled. "No. But it would be a nice surprise if someone would do. Anyway, it was nice of you to feed the Pokmon. How can I help you?"
"See, I wanna be a registered trainer. I made friends with some Pokmon and they decided to follow me. I already caught them in Pokballs."
The professor looked at her, surprised. "That's illegal!"
"Yes, someone already told me. But I dunno much about Pokmon yet, so I have had no idea that I have to be registered when I caught them."
"O well. You helped me, so I will forget about this little mistake of yours. Now, please show me your Pokmon. Maybe I can tell you something about them and I have to talk to them, I can just register you if they agree because you are older than ten years."
Sephia gulped.
"
Mewtwo?", she asked in thoughts.
"
Yes, Sephia, I hear you!", the psychic Pokmon answered.
"
Prof. Oak wants to talk to all of you because he can't register me otherwise. You have to agree that I'll be your trainer! What should I do?"
"
Stupid humans! Always causing problems! Tell him that we agree!"
Sephia turned to Prof. Oak. "They agree!", she said.
"Huh? No, no, no! I have to talk to them! It's not enough that you tell me that they agree."
Sephia called Mewtwo again. "
He says it's not enough when I say it."
She heard Mewtwo growling. "
Stupid human professor! Ok, wait, I'll ask the others."
"
You can do this?"
"
Yes, I think so."
Sephia waited and the professor looked at her, confused. "Ah, is everything ok?", he asked.
"Shhh!", whispered Sephia, waiting for Mewtwos response.
"
Ok!", he called her back. "Let us out, but he have to vow that he won't tell anyone about us."
"Professor Oak?"
"Yes?"
"You have to vow that you won't tell anyone about my Pokmon first, or I won't let them out.", Sephia said.
"Why?"
"Don't ask. You'll see it after vowing."
"Ok, ok, I vow! I promise I will tell nobody! Ok now?", the professor asked angrily. Sephia nodded.
"Ok." She took out her Pokballs and threw them in the air. "Come out, my friends!"
The Pokballs opened and the six Pokmon appeared. The professor gasped and nearly fainted when he saw them
