[This record concerns] Aphama-Adad, son of Ahi-rahiqu, and Magdal-Dagal, son of Te’, the leather-worker, an Emariot of the city of Emar, who has caused Maliya…to dwell for the second time with Kazanu, son of Kusuh-atkal, of the town of Kailu.

 

Maliya has entered the household of Kazanu as a servant and plowman. He will not…. Should he die or run away, it is hteir responsibility.  If they do not provide the service as a plowman for 2 full months and do not give [it] to Kazanu, for the idle days ½ mine each (of silver) and [for] the ….days 1 mina each [of silver], Aphama-Adad and Magdal-Dagan will weight out to Kazanu as a [fine for] non-fulfillment.
