Gigs
Cannibal Lesbian Hoedown - 27th July 2002

Firstly, we apologize that Death Club 7 pulled out at the last minute due to band members being unprepared. However, Heidigger, were more than happy to perform a few numbers because as we all know, they do it for the love.
The doors opened at half past six and the crowd were treated to some of the best pre-show entertainment in the
WHOLE WORLD! Echoes - The Gregor Experience featuring Martin Brophy took to the stage inviting the crowd to participate in singing along to classics such as, 'Tribute' 'She Ain't Got No Legs' and 'Run To The Hills.' Needless to say, the crowd were stunned!

Around 8 o'clock, the first band went on stage. Our good friends and labelmates '
Comfortably Numb' took to the stage. With their opener, 'Supressed Insanity' they got the crowd into a frenzy and the first moshpit of the night was started. With Alex Darlington on guitar, Sean Kelly on Bass, Paul Proffitt on Drums and Sam Bradburn on Vocals 'Comfortably Numb' were awesome! Overall, this was Comfortably Numb's first gig and if this set is anything to go by, they are going to be big!

Since Death Club 7 didn't play, 'Heidigger' took to the stage around 9 o'clock. The duo of Al Lawson (on Guitar and Vocals) and Bob Low (On Vocals and Harmonica) stormed through a quick set of 5 songs in this particular order:

- Phone
- House
- Break
- Loser
- Funky

With the crowd in stiches the lights went down, the curtain closed and Farfallen took to the stage.

Within the first few bars of 'You Lose' the crowd went insane and a huge moshpit erupted, the curtains opened and then the madness really started. Farfallen were on top form and have never sounded better. Jumping and generally going insane on stage as they were so into the music. Ste's drum's in perfect timing, Alasdair's voice perfectly in tune, Al's solos fast and every note hit & Tom's melodic basslines and hammering rhythems have never sounded so cool. Farfallen unveiled 3 new songs 'Lies' 'Taken' 'Dilate' and also new versions of 'Veins' and 'Head' all of which went down great. As the set drew to a close with crowd favourite 'Indecency' the crowd wanted more, so, after a second encore of 'Veins' Farfallen left, happy in the knowledge they they f**king rocked!

The set was as follows -

1 - You Lose
2 - Dilate
3 - Lies
4 - Punk Song (I Think Of You)
5 - Veins
6 - Mockingbird
7 - Running
8 - Shalom
9 - Funk
10 - Head
11 - Everything Changes
12 - Taken
13 - Indecency
