WEEK 3 Power Rankings

     When I originally decided to organize everything into a season long list, I had wanted to determine where my team was standing based on their overall performance, not just their wins and losses. This can skew the true standings and to be honest, I did not like the fact that I was in last place. So I set out to find out just what my true position in the league was. This is what I came up with. I found everyone's position for each category out of the twelve teams total, added them up and then divided by 10. The best possible score is 1 and the worst is 12. ie: (7+5+8+10+12+4+5+2+11+12 = 76. 76 / 10 = 7.6)

Much like the other links on the website, this will be updated weekly. Hopefully Power Rankings will be updated by Tuesday of that week. Without further wait, the Power Rankings.

# 1 (5.0)     Soxtober Repeat

    The Soxtober Repeat team has more number 1 positions than any other team in the league. It is due to this dominance that the Soxtober Repeat are number one in the Power Rankings. Week after week, the team has performed strong. While early in the season, they are looking to contend for the championship.

# 2 (5.1)     Ozzie's Crazy Train

     Ozzie's Crazy Train is flying under the radar. Based strictly upon winning percent, they are 7th in the league. But when looking at their output in each category, it becomes clear that this is a very underrated team. While having no number 1 spots, the team consistently is found in the upper 4. Anyone expecting an easy game can think otherwise.

# 3 (5.3)     Cubbies

     It should be no surprise that the Cubbies are in the top 3. Currently in second place in the league, the team is very solid. Currently they have 2 number one spots.

# 4 (5.6)     Huskies

     Another example of a good team being underrepresented by the win percent column. The Huskies are currently in 6th place. While not having a single number one position in any column, they are definitely looking to make the playoffs.

# 5 (6.2)     White_Sox_Suck & Neato Gang

     A tie is found for the number 5 slot. The edge must go to White_Sox_Suck simply due to their name. No other name in the league is more correct or appropriate.

# 7 (6.3)     The Boys of Zimmer

     If the playoffs were determined today, The Boys of Zimmer would narrowly miss out. A very solid team that is perhaps the most underrated in the league. Currently in 11th place, they are a team that will begin to climb the ladder as the weeks go on.

# 8 (6.4)     Yoder Dame Turtles

    Hands down the MOST OVERRATED team. Currently in 3rd place, they are nowhere near as strong as they appear. Look for them to take a dramatic fall in the upcoming weeks.

# 9 (7.4)     Ozzie For President

     Ozzie For President needs to take some cues from Ozzie's Crazy Train. Very good in some hitting categories, but pitching is definitely lacking.

# 10 (7.6)     Da Raidaz

     Simply to prove my point that I am not the worst team in the league. Da Raidaz have made more moves than most teams combined. The team is looking more solid as every day passes. Look for them to be the upset team of the league.

# 11 (8.1)     Megan's Cubs

     Consistently at the bottom.

# 12 (8.8)     Bluejay Killers

     Nowhere near being killers. Very poor performance in nearly every category. Surprisingly, they hold the number 1 spot for Saves, by more than 9.
