After months of endless promotion, Paintball Skirmish finally happened on Sunday 3oth June! Once again, we started off at the ungodly hour of 8am, and I had to get there-late of course!!!! *evil gryn*
Once we got there on the field, I lasted 10 seconds without being shot! A personal achieevment! And my neither regions didn't get hit this time either, which was a treat.
Although the low turnout meant that we didn't play no the same teams as each other, the team of Julz, Zihni Bin Laden, Tom, Grant and Craig definetly had advantages over us all day long. One by one, Bill, Viv and Shannon dropped like flies as they dropped out of paintballs, and I struggled to keep my red, then green comrades afloat! The infamous Clegg brothers didn't help either!!!!
More personal highlights-Getting shot in the mouth! Or Grant and I having a General's stoush. Or Zihni Bin Laden buying 1000 paintballs, and droppnig them on the floor like the lotto draw! My brother had an excellent time, and he thanks everyone for showing up. |
