conversation should never be associated with boredom-anything and everything gets thrown in!
I ad my first voice-to-voice conversation with her after the Fatboy Slim dj set @ The Hordern (well the next day after!) and I was tired as a mutt-but it was damn great to talk to her!
Lottie's intriguing mind could be seen from her website-on it is one of my favourite quotes of all time ("Why should MTV tell me what is cool!") in an anti-'merchants of cool' statement. For Lottie (Stephanie..teehee!) doesn't let MTV tell her what she should listen to, she KNOWS what to listen to. One way is to read her insights that appeared as a contributer to Musique to know what she is on about.
Lottie has also gone into print media-her Senior Ventures Project getting 100/100 (I tell you, it's damn good!) and for a while she had her own radio show. I was sent "Dj Euphonious Radio Mix #1"-its a journey between rock to punk via jazz and caberet! It's a reflection of her persoanlity-not limiting herself to one set style or genre-giving her ultimate credibility. Now that is cool. |
