But yeah Dave, known affectionalty as Crazy Dave, isn't really so crazy after all. He could be crazy about some things, for he is a very prominent member of his church, St Matthias. He is also a member of their "Young Adults" group, where he (at this moment-January) is on a camp!
He only joined his new parish in February 2001, and when he moved house, he did a bit of his own Backyard Blitz! There was major landscaping to be done, at least 3 overhauls of his backyard he says, all because the previous owners couldn't have been bothered to do a thing, and also because of the work that he was doing.
Dave's been really busy trying to secure a job for himself. In the middle of 2001 Dave became a qualified Library Technician. He's just found it a bit hard to get a new job, since, "Unfortunately, I was either inexperienced or someone else got the job"...but not to worry, I think Dave should be renamed Legendary Dave. Even though he is a Queenslander (tsk tsk) you gotta give him full marks for never giving up and always persisting to get what he wants. He's a true inspiration to everyone around him and it just goes to show that maybe one day even when you face your deepest troubles, you will get through... |
