R.I.P Auggy Doggy 1990-2002

Although this picture was taken a long time ago, it would be the scene at the moment up in Doggy Heaven.  Auggy, with Twinky the chiuwawa, lying on a golden bed up there with unlimited chocolate bones and a golden dish full of water.  Auggy unfortunately passed away peacefully on Sunday the 24th of February in her sleep.  She was nearly 12 in Human  years.  Auggy is missed by her adopted family, being Bundy, Charlie, Bobby, Tubby, Candy and Bubba, and us humans, who loved her dearly.  The dogs were all there, sitting and looking at her, knowing that her soul had left her body, wondering if she would be back.  Not only did she leave her body behind but she left us with good memories, especially at Northumberland Avenue where she had a romance with a dog named Chum *S*.  There was one too many times when we would let her in for only half an hour to eat, but she would stay inside for half the day.  When she was a pup, she couldn't even get onto the couch!  Unfortunately she didn't have any pups, but she would have made the perfect mother, as she showed with all the other dogs.  There are plenty more lovely pics of this Rhodesian Ridgeback-Labrador cross that I will have scanned through the week.  Thanks to everyone who has tried to cheer me up, it's like losing a little sister because we have watched her grow up with us and we got her after another dog of ours was taken from us in a hit and run accident...we have been with her through the bad and good times and as they say, remember the good times, always.  We'll miss you, Auggy.
