Perched atop their columns on high
The guardians to the gates of hell
Letting out a lonely cry
but alas to no avail.
For no man hears or knows they're there

Keeping the evil inside it's lair
Pray the guardians never fail.
For if they do then you shall see

The unspeakable terror that they set free
And the horrors that will entail.
