On 19th September 1993 a Charitable Trust, known as   Farasdanga Lions Foundation was create d by the club for the purpose of carrying out all its Social  Welfare Activities and such foundation  was registered u/s 12A of the Income Tax Act of Government of India and licensed by the International Association of Lions Clubs as  well.

Since  Inception the  club has  been carrying  out  various  Social  Welfare  Activities benefiting a larger portion of the weaker and poorer section of the  society irrespective of cast  and  creed. All   such voluntary  services have  been and  are being  rendered through Foundation.

                                                    AMBITION

The club is in process of opening few more clinics, namely Dental,Gynecology,Naturalogy,

Immunisation etc. to meet with the basic requirements and objectives of the society on humanity grounds. The club is also aiming at a larger Homeo Clinic  to serve a large part of the poor section of the community by  way of appointing the expert on chronic deceases.
