Minimum Wages Law

Minimum Wages Law

The minimum wages law was issued 4 years ago to define US$ 113 as the minimum wage. With the cooperation of the other trade unions; our trade union has trying to pressure on the business owners and the government to increase the minimum wages to reach at least the poverty line which is defined by US$ 170. Unfortunately, the government amended the minimum wages law to read USD 157 instead of USD 135. With such unfair resolution our union will continue claiming and contacting the people in charge to improve the wages. Also, it is noteworthy to say that we could convince the government to amend the law to prevail the pieceworkers in the resolution as they were not included in the past.
