History:
Jay was born in Nuestrõ, the biggest fishing city in the world. And
the best place for pirates too. Jay doesn't know who his father is, propably
some already dead pirate, who knows. His mother was a prostitute, so he isn't
the best raiced kid at the neighbourhood. After fishing the entire childhood
of his, Jay got pissed off about the poor living and his mother, who never
really cared much about him. He first started to help the fishermen with their
nets and boats etc. After getting pissed off with them too - beucause they
never payed Jay well - Jay went to bar where he met an old pirate, named Lugosi.
Jay helped Lugosi in a fight and got away with him. Lugosi took Jay in his
ship. Aye, Lugosi was an Captain, of one old pirate ship. First Jay was disapointed,
gotten on the way with 'another-foot-in-the-coffin' -old pirates, but after
few fights, he understood how good - and bad - they were. The crue of the
ship wasn't big, but all the treasures was fifty-fifty with everyone and though
the Captain Lugosi expected much of his crue, he was still good deep down.
The pirates teached Jay how to fight, use a pistol, dagger and a sword. After
a month, Jay was one with the pirates. He fought with them and won with them.
But after few years, another pirates attacked the ship, and even though how
much Jay fighted, they didn't win this time. Other pirates on his ship were
already too old and there was too less of them. The Captain Lugosi died in
front of Jay's eyes, and Jay swore revenge, after all Lugosi had been the
first one his life, who had really cared of the young man. Jay got deep wounds,
and was thrown in the water with the other pirates - though, they were all
dead, except Jay. After few days of floating on a piece of wood, Jay was rescued
by a small liquer ship who took him to Tearêlin. After that Jay started
to hunt the group of pirates, those who had killed his friends and Captain
Lugosi. After getting back to the other island, and a small town called Quedatey,
he found the Captain of the ship who had attacked them. Jay got his revenge
after a long fight and after that... He went to get drunk by drinking rum.
Jay is a searat, always finding the way to get hidden in the ships that goes
to places where he wants to visit. He doesn't belong into anykinda ship at
the moment, but it's only matter of time now. After all, there isn't much
of pirates any more.
Humans:
Humans are the predominant race in world. Humans rule most of the significant
empires and kingdoms. They are the most social and tolerant of races, expecting
perhaps the halflings. The only special ability that a human possesses is
that they may advance as any class, and advance to any level.
Pirate
/ Thief:
Pirates are able to use many kinda weapons, pistols, daggers, swords. They
are able to also use many kinda other things, usually almost everything they
get in their hands. Pirates are skilled with the fighting at sea and they
have very low sense of pain, so they are willing to fight long for what they
want.
To accomplish his goals, for good or ill, the thief is a skilled pilferer.
Cunning, nimbleness and stealth are his hallmarks. Whether he turns his talent
against innocent passers-by and wealthy merchants or oppressors and monsters
is a choice for the thief to make. Thief's special abilities are; open locks,
find traps, pick pockets, move silently, hide in shadows, detect illusions
and set traps.
Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral
Chaotic neutral characters believe that there is no order to anything, including
their own actions. With this as a guiding principle, they tend to follow whatever
whim strikes them at the moment. Good and evil are irrelevant when making
a decision. Chaotic neutral characters are extremely difficult to deal with.
Such characters have been known to cheerfully and for no apparent purpose
gamble away everything they have on the roll of a single die. They are extremely
unreliable.
