The king entourage walks down the hall and runs into a child.
"What is this?", the king ask. Everyone else is surprised to see a child in the Embassy. Everyone except 'Finn'. He seems agitated. What 'Finn' sees is a elven-like
creature with wings.
"How did you get in here, child?" Squire Sean asks.
"That big dumb guard outside is asleep."
"What!" the kings guards chime.
"Yeah, you should hire better help. Anyway, I have two messages here. One for Finn McGill and one for Sean Carlton."
"Well give them their messages and be off, little one." One of the guards order.
"These messages are for you eyes only, Squire Sean and Lord Finn."
Both nod their heads. Sean takes his scroll and  'Finn', who is somewhat shaking right now, takes his.
"Is there a problem Lord Finn?" the little messenger ask.
"Nothing." 'Finn' quickly regaining his composure. "Nothing at all."
"Ok, well I must leave. Happy Midwinter, your majesty." The messenger leaves.

A few moments later Sean read his letter in private.

Squire Sean

I have some advice for you.  You should know this by now but it is worth repeating.

Keep you friends close, and keep your enemies even closer.

If you need to find me come alone to Eryn Lasgalen and ask  for me.

Your guide for now
Changeling Darksong Jester.

At the same time 'Finn' reads his

Well
First off make sure NO ONE sees this letter. Its for your own protection.

You know who I am and I know what you are.
Riddle me this: What do you want.

At this time I am not a threat to you and you are not a threat to me. Fate, However still controls our paths. As long as you do not interfere with my plans I will not
interfere with yours.

Being a creature of the Dreaming, you and only you are invited, to the Midwinter Festival in Tow'land Forest.

Forever Wandering
The Changeling

Meanwhile on the other side of the land Breca Van D'Evic receives a letter.

Breca

I have found the doppleganger. For his protect, or until I find out if he's a threat to any other changelings in the kingdom. I shall keep his location secret.
So far the only thing he has done is blame me for something.  Since I've been in the Dreaming for some time, I'm not sure what.

If you need to find me follow the silver trode from Eryn Lasgalen. You'll find the way to my Towerroom from there.

May your roads always be adventurous.
Change

Oh yes the Midwinter festival is coming up in Tow'land. Come by if you have the time.

The caravan moved slowly through the woods.  Evening was fast approaching and some of the men showed their fear openly.

"I tell you these woods are haunted" one old trooper said to another
"haunted, hah, I'll believe in ghosts when I catch one and it gives me a  blowjob"

just at that moment the first guard toppled over for no apparent reason...  leaping from the brush a lone man grabbed the bridles of both horses and  slammed their
heads together.  The animals fell, knocked unconcious.

"carefull what you say oldtimer.....remember the old story about sowing the ground with dragon's teeth?"

within moments men appeared as if by magic, from everywhere....even the ground beneath the soldiers feet.  There was no battle, surprise had taken  them.

A figure in armor glided out of the woods "give back what you have stolen from the people, and we will let you live. Refuse and ye shall die"

"what do you mean stolen!!!" the old guard exclaimed, "we are the Royal Guards escorting the taxes from the western areas to the kings fortress at  Daharahn"

"The King is a liar and a thief, he robs from His own people, takes food  from children's mouths to feed his own gluttony, destroys the land around Him all to further
his own ambitions.  I realize you are only following orders so we will let you live.  Captain, remove their tunics, have them put them on  inside out and ride their
horses backwards into town.  That should let the King know who was behind this."

the old guard grumbled, but complied after all he had a wife and child at home.  As he rode off in shame he noticed the armbands, a sun and moon  conjoined,
similar to the inside out outline of the tunic on his chest.  In  the distance he thought he heard "give this back to those it was taken  from, our fight is with the King, not
the people"

The patrol stepped quickly on their way from town to town.  Bows drawn, lances ready, swords loose; everyone know trouble was brewing in the woods...
they rounded the cornter at a gallop only to encounter a hanged man swinging from a branch of an oak tree.
"Sonofa.....cut him down" the file leader exclaimed.
"Sir take a look at this"
"what now?"

a placcard hung around the dead man's neck covering the symbol of a Royal Accountant

"DEATH TO ALL THEIVES, KNOW THIS TO BE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE" underneath was a symbol.....a sun and moon conjoined.
