As the holiday season approaches and the flurry of
activities keeps us hopping,let us not forget our
feathered friends outdoors.These birds are the ones
who bring a smile to our weary faces and lighten the
worries for us as they flutter
onto a nearby branch.
As winter gets into full swing and temperatures
drop, birdfeeders will be especially welcome to birds.
Food is becoming a bit more scarce and harder to find.
Snow may cover normal food sources found in nature. For
some birds, survival during winter is only possible if
the bird is constantly on the lookout for food during the
daytime. Remember that the bird needs to have enough food
to keep warm during the long cold nights.
