I like pretty much all legitimate sports-but the sports
personality that I grew to idolize as a kid, “the Doctah!”, is an athlete
deserving of every accolade that ever came his way....and
there were many!

player ever.............. 
Sorry, Mike--you may be the most complete player in history, but
no one including you could provide the thrills and levels
of uncertain anticipation that Erving gave us. INDIVIDUALLY-Julius
is still by far the most creative-night
in and night out, that I have ever seen. I drove many miles to see him
play on three different occasions-and was never disappointed!

JULIUS ERVING CAREER STATISTICS




Erving is one of only 4 players in pro history to score over 30,000
career points-but check out how he not only scored, but for a 6-7 small
forward dished out many assists and was a very decent boardman. Julius
was also very underrated defensively. He would still be "THE MAN", in any
