Opinion: This is one hell of a book. It is about an outcast named Kestrel. She has never liked to work with anyone, she just steals and dreams about living in the rickes some day. She doesn't want anyone to betray, or hurt her, so she doesn't talk to anyone. But when she finds out some soldiers were excavating aroung where her stash of stolen goods were, and she gets sucked into the world that the pool has brought he into. She was stuck with the soldiers and had to make due with what had happened. Overall this is an excellent book. I am not going to ruin any of it for you.

Opinion:This is a great series, other then the fact that the author can't write at all. Everything is half-, ex.: half-elf, half-giant, half-this, half-that, blah blah blah. But it is really good. ...........................Verdant Passage- In this book they really don't do much besides killing the king and then they free some prisoners and get a new king. You get a pretty good introduction on the characters. Like Rikus, Agis, Tithian, etc. ........................Crimson Legion- This is the book where Rikus gets everything organized to attack Tyr. He plans the attack plans with his newly aquired armies. Also, you get an intro to a king from the book Brazen Gambit. ..........................The Amber Enchantress- This is the book mainly on Sadira and her become stronger as a person and a warrior. She seperates from the group and then comes back to fight the ultimate dragon, Borys. ..........................The Obsidian Circle- This is the one where they have to get the Obsidain Oracle for the new king Tithian so he can become the ultimate warrior. But this power would most likely overwhelm him. ..........................The Cerulean Storm- This is by far the best book in the series. Tithian tries to destroy everyone using the magical powers of The Way, but Rikus puts an end to that. And the newly aquired baby of the group (well not that new.) Kills the ultimate sorceress, Rajaat.

Opinion:This is an excellent book. I began to read this book for the fun of it because it was there. Then I couldn't put it down, I finished it the second day of reading it. It is a great book. It is about this man who is an outcast and has tremendous power. He is in a school that majors in different fighting arts such as swordsmanship, ranger skills, mages, etc. Everyone has to pick one class and train in it and he wanted to master all of the classes. He got invited to a new school that only picked talented students enroll in. But as he was leaving an anonomous tipster (saying it would ruin the book) told a powerful monster from the sea of mist how to get to the school and destroy it. This caused a huge war. I am not going to say any more. Overall this is a geniusly good book.

Opinion:This book is so bad it scares me out of my pants. I can't believe someone in their write mind would publish the book. Half the book they are rambling on and on about some sort of powder, the other they are describing things that they aren't going to do. It is so bad, I don't know why I am even writing this message down about it. I don't even think it would deserve one star, but I gave it to them because they wasted their time writing a whole series about nothing.
Book/ Series: Into the Forge, Into the Fire
Genre:Fantasy
Author:Dennis L. McKiernan
Rating:****
Opinion:This is a fairly good book, actually, this is a great book. The only reason I gave it four stars was because the author was too descriptive at times and he made me lose intrest. No offense to him or anything, he is a very talented man. But personally, I don't like really long descriptions. But this book starts off with a fight and a man dying. Then a boy comes along and takes a coin from the man and has to deliver it to a king. At least I think that is how it goes. I read this book so long ago, I can't remember it too well. I am sorry if I got it wrong. All in all, this is a great book.

Opinion:This is a really good book and it really does show a good representation of the greasers, and the west and east side in the 90's. The author really caught my attention and kept it through out the whole novel. I love this book so much with Soda, and the others. This is genius. Congrats to the author.
