| Recharged! results, 29/11/02 Things heat up just days before Destruction! page 1 of 1 After a two week absence, Recharged! returned with an explosive episode in which all matches for Destruction were confirmed, Vega Santana made an incredible cruiserweight debut and Scorpion defeated B.I.G and Justin Jones in a handicap match! The show kicked with the Recharged! general manager, Tony Vegas, making plans for the evening and Saturday's PPV. He decided a tag team match would take place tonight with the winning team getting a tag title shot at Destruction against Nitro and Brian Eagle. The two teams announced were The Kidman Boyz vs. Steve Freeman and Inferno. At this point the GM's father, EWO owner, Mr. Vegas came out to ringside to make the main event. Vegas said that at Destruction he is the man who will be fighting Scorpion to end the fued once and for all. However, he wanted Scorpion to have some injuries for Saturday so he set up a handicap match as the main event. Scorpion will fight both B.I.G and Justin Jones tonight! The World Champion Eric Phillips went one on one with Russel Hicks in a non-title match. Half way through the bout Mizark Pennington made his presence felt as he came storming into the ring to deliver the 'Pennington Express' to the World Champion leaving him battered on the canvas. The match ended up as a DQ but Mizark took a moment to speak. He spoke about the upcoming pay-per-view this Saturday and the MWA Reunion match. In the past back in the MWA days Mizark had beaten Phillips on several occasions and Destruction wont be no exception he said! In one of the greatest cruiserweight matches in EWO history, Vega Santana made his long awaited EWO debut buy totally kicking Vulture's ass! The high flying superstar used every single section of the ropes and buckles to swing and fly from! Santana was too much for Vulture as an incredible 'Reverse Moonsault' finished the job. Also, in tag team action Steve Freeman and Inferno defeated The Kidman Boyz to earn the title shot on Saturday. Later in the evening the tito-tron lit up with a rainbow image. The fans watched on in confusion as to what it was all about. It was revealed to be a message from newly signed EWO women's star, Rainbow saying that she will enter the ring very soon! The main event saw the Undisputed EWO Champion, Scorpion, collide in a handicap match against B.I.G and Justin Jones. Scorpion found it a struggle to fend of both men at one time but came out victorious nailing both men with the 'Scorpion Sting'. As Scorpion celebrated, Mr. Vegas came rushing into the ring and nailed the champion with a steel chair across the head as Recharged! went of the air. MATCH RESULTS Eric Phillips def.
