| All matches have been confirmed for FOW Oblivion. Colour = current defending champion - Main event - FOW Heavyweight Championship Hell in a cell match Nitro vs Scorpion The steel cell was lowered onto the ring as the fans watched in amazement. The first FOW Hell in a cell was about to take place. The challenger, Scorpion was the first to enter. Then out came the FOW Heavyweight Champion with his fellow Generation DooM member Rage. Nitro and Scorpion got it on right from the start throwing each other against the cell. One side of the cell busted open and both men climbed to the top of the cell! Nitro and Scorpion were trying to throw each other of the cell but neither were succesful. Instead, Nitro bodyslammed Scorpion onto the roof of the cell causing both men to fall right through the cell onto the canvas. Both men were down for a few minutes and Rage was trying to get into the cell to help Nitro but the refs helled him back. Both men began to move again but they were both clearly tired. Nitro picked Scorpion up and threw him into the side of the cell busting Scorpions forehead open. Nitro then hit the Nitro bomb and picked up the victory to remain FOW Heavyweight Champion. After the bout Rage got inside of the ring with Nitro and both men grabbed the mic. Suddenly the music of FOW US Champion The Warrior began to play and out came the champ. Nitro announced to us all that The Warrior is the new third member of Generation DooM! FOW Tag Team Championship Legion of Doom vs The Headbangers This was an exciting match as both teams are former WWE Tag Team Champions. First two in were Mosh (Headbangers) against Animal (LOD). Mosh took Animal down with a clothesline and tagged in Thrasher who landed a leg drop to Animal. The Headbangers appeared to have the match undercontrol until Animal tagged in Hawk who ran wild on The Headbangers! Hawk climbed to the top rope and went for a flying clothesline but Thrasher stuck his leg out winding Hawk. Thrasher went for the pin but Animal climbed in and broke it up, the Mosh came and all four men were going at it! It took a while for the ref to sort it out but he did and we were back to Hawk against Thrasher. After nearly 15 minutes of action Mosh tagged in Thrasher and both men team together and performed the Mosh Pit on Hawk leaving the Thrasher to pin Hawk to become the new FOW Tag Team Champions! Former Friends match Thunder vs Lightning Both men stood tall glaring into each others eyes. Thunder threw the first punch but Lightning retaliated by a dropkick which knocked Thunder down. Lightning went for an early pin but only got the two count. The first ten minutes of the bout saw each other throwing punches and kicks but Lightning began to play dirty. He unbuckled the corner post and threw his former partner right into it cutting the forehead of Thunder! After this Thunders performance was very wobbly. He was easy to knock down and the ref tried to end the bout but Lighting picked the ref up and threw him out of the ring. The ref straight away called for the bell and gave a DQ victory to the dazed Thunder. First blood match Manbeast vs Chris Powers Before the match began we all got the chance to look into the ring and see a selection of weapons that were going to be used. Chris Powers was the first to come down the ramp but was jumped on by Manbeast who was carrying a sledgehammer! He constantly used the sledgehammer on Powers left knee and the ref was quite concerned about that state of Chris Powers. This wasnt a wrestling match, this was Manbeat living upto his name and being a sick man! The match lasted only six minutes long. Manbeast used the sledgehammer to cut open the knee of Chris Powers and the knee drew blood giving the victory to Manbeast, After the bout, Powers was taken out of the ring on a stretcher and is currently in hospital. FOW Lightweight Championship triple threat match New Found Star vs Tommy Toxic vs Joey 'the kid' Speed This match was the first title match for Tommy Toxic. As the bell rang you could see how eager Toxic was to get gold. He went for NFS right from the start using his Lighweight ability to fly through the air! It appeared to me that Joey Speed and NFS were working together, Joey was constantly helping NFS by giving Tommy Toxic beatings to protect the Lightweight Champion. But young Toxic was fighting for his life in that ring and was clearly impressing the fans. He took NFS down with a leg sweep and then a round house kick to the jaw of Joey Speed. Both NFS and Joey were down giving Tommy Toxic the advantge. Toxic went to the top rope and landed the Toxic takedown on NFS! As he went for the pin Joey Speed threw Tommy Toxic right out of the ring and pinned New Found Star to be crowned the new FOW Lightweight Champion. FOW Hardcore Championship fatal four way match B.I.G vs Vulture vs Axel vs Jago Williams Well this match was a classic hardcore match with unsettled results. B.IG had the match easily controlled by taking Vulture, Axel and Jago down using his huge 430 pound weight. As soon as the match began B.I.G chokeslammed Axel and got the 1,2,3 for an amazing quick victory but as B.I.G left the ring and went to the ramp he was followed by Vulture and Jago who both took the big man down using kicks and punches. Vulture pinned B.I.G and became the new Hardcore champion but Jago Williams pulled out a steel chair from the crowd and nailed Vulture right across the head with it and picked up the victory and was crowed the new FOW Hardcore Champion. As Jago was celebrating out from the crowd came The Fury who speared Jago and picked up the victory to become the new FOW Hardcore Champion! Tag team match Twin Glory vs Combined Power The history of these two teams go back a few weeks and this match was for nothing more than to settle the score. Twin Glory were clearly dominating Combined Power all the way through. Twin Glory were using a lot of team work to take down the opponents. Both members of Combined Power tagged in and took down the big men by landing several aerial attacks. At one point the match looked to be over for Twin Glory but the twins fought back and landed the Twin Takedown to pick up the victory. FOW UK Championship match Danny Steel vs Strike The bell rang and the match got underway right from the start. Danny Steel over powering Strike taking advantage of the top ropes. Danny Steel went to the top rope again but was caught in mid air by Strike who somehow reversed the attack into a hurricarana! Strike continued the attack but Danny Steel hit a low blow which the referee missed! This gave Steel a huge advantage as he went on top again to land an amazing leg drop to pick up a succesful title defence. |
