The new kid on the block from Team Omegaforce. This bot is meant to be as asthetically pleasing as it is destructive. The design is based on an old Omegaforce design called Tequila Sunrise. This design incorporates a limited travel swing arm to allow invertibility in a four wheeled vertical spinner. The swing arm consists of an aluminum cage machined with a spider web pattern to lighten it and give it a cool look. It is also powder coated red to match the color scheme. The weapon cage protects the driveline and weapon disc from damage. The disc is 14" diameter machined titanium with a spider web pattern. and has 5 hardened steel multi-directional teeth. The weapon driveline consists of two belts, so if one breaks the weapon still has full power due to both weapon motors driving a single shaft. The two weapon motors are Tork EM45 motors putting out a total of 9 HP. The weapon reaches it's top speed of 3600 RPM in about 2 seconds. The drivetrain consists of four Tork EM12 planetary motors driving Tractical directional wheels. The power system is a 36V LiPoly system for maximum life when spinning the weapon the whole match. The armor is 3/8" aluminum with 5/8" aluminum ramming bars up front and 5/8" steel spikes on the side. The bot is painted red and blue (the "Spider-Man" color scheme) to round out the look of the bot.
