Question & Answer Poll - 2002 Season
I only use the Fantasy Football Index. It is the most informative of all the magazines and I find their Cheat Sheet provides the most accurate rankings available.
2. What is your strategy come Draft Day? Do you look for a certain position, i.e. RB's? Do you shy away from certain Teams? Which ones? Is one position deeper this year than another (position)?
I look for the strongest player on the board the 1st couple of rounds, then I start worrying about positions.
3. Who is the most overrated Quarterback this year and why?
Whoever starts for Washington. People are getting way too excited about the new offense; when teams come after them with different blitz packages, they fall like a house of cards.
4. Who is the most overrated Running Back this year and why?
I�ll go with Duce Staley, he�s a back-up who is starting, I would choose him as a 4th or 5th back.
5. Who is the most overrated Wide Receiver this year and why?
I�m thinking Randy Moss, only because I�d like to see him w/o Cris Carter, He�ll be doubled and tripled teamed on every play.
6. Pass along one (can't share 'em all!) Sleeper pick this year and why?
The Villanova product for the Eagles, Brian Westbrook. He can catch and is quick as hell. Look for more playing time as the season goes on.
7. In which Round do you start thinking about a Kicker or Defense? Or do you let the others dictate that, when there's a run on one or both of these positions, do you then jump in?
Double-digit rounds, I usually wait for someone to draw first blood than I move in.
8. Who do you think has the possibility of not being drafted at all, yet could be a potential quality Free Agent sometime during the season?
Matt Hasselbeck, since he is starting due to injury. If he can pick up the offense the sky is the limit.
9. Among those who performed well last season, who will fall the farthest in terms of production from last year to this year and why?
Terrell Owens. His numbers last year were scary and I don�t know if he can do that again.
