| Week 2 | ||||||||||||||||
| Well Week 1 has come and gone. Let's see. How'd I do? My "Sure Fire" picks had a little of everyintg. The Bears (-4) over the Vikes came close, but ended up as a push, 27-23 Da Bears. The Dolphins (-7) over the hapless Lions came thru like a champ. But the Browns (-3) over the Chiefs didn't quite workout as the Chiefs, in what must've seemed like an Arena League game to those watching, won 40-39. On to Week 2. |

| Sure-Fire The Niners (-3.5) at 3-Com over the Broncos I realize 3.5 pts sounds like a lot, especially given the way each Team played in Week 1. But I think the Niners offense will get back on track and win by at least 7. The G-Men (+12.5) at the Rams The last time the G-Men faced the Rams in the RCA Dome, the Rams "escaped" 16-13. I don't know if it'll be that close this time, but... the G-Men are going to mimic what they've now seen the Patriots, in last year's SB and the Broncos last week, do... and that is be very physical with the Rams, especially the receivers. The G-Men will cover. A Grain of Salt would be Wise The Colts @home (-2.5) over the Fish This series has a long and storied history of close games. Expect another one. I like the Colts to win but I just am not sure about them covering. |

| My Birds - Week 2 (-3) at the Redskins Book it. The Eagles WILL NOT lose to the Redskins. They WILL NOT lose two games in a row. |
