MVP
Priest Holmes-May very easily break the single season combined yardage and TD records. KC is a very mediocre team right now, imagine how bad they would be without this guy

LVP
Randy Moss-Not because of his talent or his stats (quietly 5th in the league in receptions), but because of the cancer he is to his teammates, and the disgrace he is to the organization. Arguably, the most naturally talented WR to ever play the game, he has all the skills to break all of Jerry Rices receiving records. Sadly, he may someday challenge all of Larry Allens league arrest records (Dont know if thats true or not, there are probably 20 guys I could have inserted there in place of Larry Allen) Sorry Larry.

Biggest Surprise-Team
San Diego Chargers-In first place in the toughest division in football. Powered by one of the top defenses in the league and LT, and Drew Brees doing what needs to de done not to lose games for them, they may very well be the top team in the AFC right now.

Biggest Surprise-Player
Donald Driver-I had no idea who this guy was before this year, and 8 weeks in, hes among the league leaders receiving yards and TDs.

Biggest Bust-Team
St Louis Rams-So far. Just about everyones (including Vegas) pick to come out of the NFC this year, they started the season 0-5. Currently on a two game winning streak, thanks to Mike Martz finally realizing that Marshall Faulk is the best player in football and needing to get him the ball 30+ times a game for the Rams to be successful. Dont sleep on the Rams, but before all is said and done, it wouldnt surprise me to see them in the thick of things making some teams very nervous come playoff time.

Biggest Bust-Player
Anthony Thomas-Last Years Offensive ROY is currently average 3.1 yards per carry and had 3 TDs in 7 games.

Offensive Rookie of the Year
Clinton Portis-Mike Shanahan has done it again. It very well may be the system, but regardless, whoever is back there produces. This year is no different. Look for Portis to finish with 1400 combined yards and 13 TDs, enough to make him this years Offensive ROY.

Defensive Rookie of the Year
Julius Peppers-In what should be a unanimous vote, the first defensive player taken in the draft and the current league leader in sacks is, to quote my boy Snoop Dogg, off the hizzok. For shizzle my nizzle.

Comeback Player of the Year
Drew Bledsoe-After getting injured and watching Tom Brady lead his New England Patriots team to the Super Bowl Championship, Bledsoe came back to have a monster year in Buffalo, and to once again make the Bills a contender. Although he may be the NFLs version of Patrick Ewing (Teams superstar either gets injured or retires, and that same team minus the superstar is inexplicably a better team), hes proving to everyone that hes still one of the 5 best QBs in the game.
