Week 6
Its week 6, and ala Austin Powers, I seemed to have lost my mojoif I ever had it to begin with. I am 1-3 with my locks on the site, and more importantly 0-1 on my lock in Vegas, bringing my aggregate Win/Loss record to an anemic 1-4 and my yearly net earnings to -$60. In an attempt to bring my record back to respectability, I will be choosing 2, thats right, 2, locks of the week.

Lock #1                                         Jacksonville(-2) @ Tennessee

Look for Jimmy Smith, Mark Brunell, and Fred Taylor all to have big games against one of the leagues 3 worst passing defenses. Of course Fred Taylor will have 150-some combined yards, and Stacey Mack will have 3 carries for 4 yards and 2 TDs. When Tennessee has the ball and Eddie George  running like Eddie Munster of late, look for Tennessee to air it out to the dynamic receiving tandem of Kevin Dyson and Justin McCariens. Look for Frank Wycheck to have 80 yds and a score and a few FGs from Joe Nedney.

Jacksonville 27
Tennessee 23

Lock #2                                           New Orleans (-1) @ Washington

While it pains me to go against my Knute Rockne, I mean Steve Spurrier, let Washington Redskins, to save some face I must pick with my head, not my heart. Its a no brainer to start Aaron Brooks and Duece McAllister every week (Damn it, I could have chosen McCallister in my draft but opted for Eddie Munster instead). Look for Champ Bailey to shut down Joe Horn, thus allowing Jerome Pathon to get open for a score. I believe Patrick Ramsey will struggle in this one because, quite frankly, I dont think hes as good as his numbers against Tennessees terrible pass defense show. I see at least 2 picks by the New Orleans secondary. Look for a big day from Stephen Davis, if he can recover from his knee sprain suffered last week.

New Orleans 31
Washington 24
