One Players in our list score
points in the Premiership, Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cup and Carling Cup
matches from Aug 14 until the final match of the season. Champions League qualifiers do not
count. Your maximum spend is £40
million and you can select up to a maximum of two players from any one
Premiership team. Rule
Two Three points are awarded to
a player given a mark of 7 or above in the SunSport individual
ratings. A 5-point bonus is awarded
to the Star Man. Rule
Three Five points are awarded for
a goal scored. A player scoring 3 or
more goals gets five additional points.
These points are retained in the event of a goal being later given to
a different player, who will not get the points. A keeper or defender who
keeps a clean sheet scores five points.
Conceding one goal means no points, two goals means –1 point, three
goals means –2 and so on. Rule Five
A midfielder whose
team keeps a clean sheet scores 2 points – midfielders are not penalised for
goals conceded by their team. Rule
Six A keeper or defender who
comes on as sub scores points for a clean sheet or loses points for goals
conceded just as if they had played 90 minutes. Rule Seven
A goalkeeper who saves a penalty
scores 3 points, a save being defined as a goal not being scored direct from
the penalty spot or rebound off the post.
It is still considered a save if a goal is subsequently scored off a
rebound. Rule
Eight A player who is booked loses
a point. A players sent off loses
three points in total. Even if the
offence is later rescinded he still loses the points. Rule
Nine The season’s top individual
points-scorer gets a bonus of 20 points. Rule
Ten Managers can substitute up
to a total of three players during the season. There is no set period – the three substitutions can be made at
any time, but they must comply with the rules regarding value and number of
players from any one team. Rule
Eleven A player transferred from one
Premiership side to another continues to score points and remains registered
with his original club. If he leaves
the Premiership his points are frozen until he returns. |
