| This is a quiet place of remembrance and reflection, teds. It is always evening here, with a rich golden-pink sunset in the almost-clear sky, and winter never touches the flowers. This is where we go to remember children we have lost. |
| To play with and guard children is a ted's truest and finest destiny--so to lose children to the Monsters is a horrible thing. Teds always lose their children to adulthood...but that is a natural thing, not a Monster. The Monsters steal childrens' lives away forever. |

| This is another reason I created the League of Extraordinary Teds--to fight the many Monsters that threaten children. This doorway behind me leads back into the Main Hall. When you wish to return there, or go to points beyond, come back through the gardens and enter here. Now... Wander gently through the lawns of Maid Lillian's Gardens.... |
