"Hello...Jeri," Lina muttered very cautiously, careful not to make any sudden movements or not to provoke her. Jeri continued to glare at her sharply through her only for style use black framed glasses that seemed to match her bad assed behavior. Her gunblade was crafted with such beauty and elegance that it made Lina just want to stare at it for a while rather than having to fight Jeri ...against that thing.
"Who are you!?" she demanded. The sharp gunblade was only one inch away from her neck in a threatening position. It was an obvious fact that Jeri was not afraid to attack Lina and neither was she afraid to show how mericless she was. It was not to intimidate, but to warn: "I'll kill you if I want and trust me, I will if I feel like it." Lina took a deep breath, her eyes watching the sharp silver edge of the gunblade that was so close to her neck with great caution and answered calmly and as innocently as she could.
"Lina Heartilly," she said firmly and as sweetly as she possibly could. Jeri pushed the gunblade closer, now it was only a centimeter way from her skin and Lina could already feel the cold edge pressing against her neck, the metal sting that could numb her senses and cause her to become paralyzed in not only fear, but anxiousness as well. Jeri's response to that was conspicuous: Jeri did not believe her or... would not believe her, either way, that gunblade was still there and had not moved every since Lina had stated her name honestly.
"No, really. Rinoa doesn't have a sister," she yelled dully. "Who the hell are you now?" So, in this world, I don't exist, Lina was quick to think. She muttered something out quickly.
"Uh...Liz Chang from Magality."
"How'd you get here?" Lina laughed nervously and chuckled a tiny bit, not really able to answer that question at that time. "COME ON I'M WAITING... MY GUNBLADE IS WAITING."
"Well, I guess the heavens dropped me, huh?" Jeri didn't like what she said. Her eyes narrowed, strongly displeased by her response and demanded another answer from her. She threatened her, forewarningly. It was a sign to back off because when she said she "How'd you get here?" she expected a direct answer, not some corny joke that gave no information whatsoever. Lina would have responded seriously with the fact that she did not know how she got here, but she felt a searing pain in her right arm and she fell to ground as wet sticky blood poured out of the wound in her wrist.
"Oh, god, let's get you to the Infirmary," Jeri put the gunblade down gingerly and helped Lina up and to Garden's Infirmary where Lina could get some treatment for that nasty, blood leaking cut.
"No, I'm fine," Lina tried to convince her. It was best to lie low in a world where she didn't exist. "Go back to the wedding."
"Shut up and walk," Jeri ordered and Lina was immediately annoyed with this girl. Please don't tell me what to do. I can think for myself She wanted to tell her, but she didn't... Why? Because that gunblade was still lying in the soft green grass lazily, just waiting to be put in action, and Lina didn't know if this Jeri girl would be so cruel as to attack an already battle wounded person that had just come off the battlefield.
"No, get your ass back to the wedding!" Lina pushed her away violently. Jeri shrugged and left Lina by herself. She probably didn't want to admit that Lina was right; she should get back. I shouldn't talk to them or else I might change their world, their feelings, or even personalities.
