Lina sat on the chair in front of the computer, hoping to get an update from Dan on the events in her own world. She tapped the keyboard nervously and waited for his response.

He signed off. Lina left her dorm with the cap on and walked to the cafeteria. She sat down in the back of the room with a drink. The sun shone through the glass panels and Lina enjoyed the scenery peacefully. Her body was still weak and the top of her left arm was now bandaged. She had a strange tendency to get damaged during anytime of the day. Sally and Zell approached her table. She noticed that and almost fell out of the chair she was sitting in.
"Liz!" Sally called out to her. Lina gripped the edges of her metal dining chair anxiously, her palms started to water from her nervousness. She wondered what this Zell would act like. She put on a friendly smile. She made sure the hat covered her eyes and she tilted her head down with the tips of her fingers as they came in closer and sat down at her table with her. "This is Zell," Sally introduced her to Zell, but Lina knew very well who he was.
"Nice to meet you," Zell stuck his hand out to shake hers. Lina stared at it warily for a moment, then looked up at Zell who seemed to be expecting her to shake it. It was a eerie haitus in their conversation that moment Lina seemed to be examining his hand, seeing if it was any different from the hand of the Zell she knew. Finally, Lina responded, an immature and playful cheer in her voice.
"You too," she slapped it like a hi-five. Zell withdrew his hand with a strange look on his face. "So what're you guys doing here?" Lina demanded at once with a haughty tone in her voice on purpose in order to try to scare them off to go sit with someone else for their lunch.
"Eating, what else?" Sally said. Lina laughed nervously. She mumbled to herself quietly as if scolding her own stupidity. Their awkward conversation went on for a couple of mins, but then Sally got up and left to get a drink or something for a moment, leaving Lina alone with Zell for that moment. No, Sally! Come back! Don't leave me alone with this stranger! Lina thought, but then her eyes widened at her own thoughts, Since when do I want Sally to stay? Doh! Wrong Sally... Focus, Heartilly, blood loss is getting to your head.
"So, where you come from?" Zell asked her finally after an extremely awkward pause between the two of them. Lina smirked, this was her time to totally confuse him.
"You know damn well that I don't care about you, but then again you don't care that I actually give a damn about you, but yet again you don't know because you don't know who the hell I am!" Lina said in the hushed whispered, then screamed in his face, amused, "LATER, DINCHT!" She stood up and headed for the exit, happy that she had confused him and made a bad impression on all of them. "Damn that felt good."
Back in her own world, the others laughed and cheered her on, clapping their hands together. What a show! Some pat Zell on the back as he laughed and hid his blush behind his hand.
Lina knew she couldn't really interfere with a world where she didn't exist. There was suddenly a huge BOOM that echoed in throughout the entire Garden. A group of Galbadian soldiers rushed into the cafeteria and started to raid the room. Zell looked mad. Why shouldn't he? In this world, he was supposed to have gotten a peace treaty signed with President Deling.
"Damn it, not again," Zell muttered as he stood up and clenched his hands into a fist. Everyone else in the cafeteria were scattered slightly, trying to escape from the attackers.
