In the morning, Lina went to the library for some peace and quiet. She probably shouldn't have done so though...She should have thought about where she was first before acting. As soon as she walked into the maroon colored and marred carpet she found Sally standing behind the counter. Lina approached slowly, puzzled slightly by Sally's being there. Also because in her world, Sally was on the assistant librarian and was barely ever at the front desk unless the librarian in charge decided to take a break and grab some lunch. That was always Sally's glowing hour though; when she was feel the most special.
"Shouldn't you and Zell be on your honeymoon?" she asked her. She had completely forgotten that in her own world, Sally was mean and conniving, and so her tone was flat and unappreciative. Saying those words to this person whom, in an entirely different world, had tried to kill her many times over and over again, was hard for Lina, but she couldn't help her curiosity of what was going on since just the day before, she had witnessed their wedding and they were supposedly supposed to go on their honeymoon that day... or at least... not go to work.
"Zell's busy, but I know he won't forget. He never does," Sally responded distantly, but then snapped back and stared at Lina cautiously. "Who are you?" Lina froze in her fear, too frightened to even sweat out her nervousness or her self understood stupidity. She forgot that she wasn't supposed to really talk to anyone here, her curiosity had gotten the best of her, but then again, curiosity killed the cat. Wrong move, Heartilly, she scolded herself in her mind.
"Liz Chang. I...transferred from...Trabia," Lina lied, smiling nervously. Sally held her hand out. She shook hands with her. Lina prayed her palms weren't sweaty because that would be a dead giveaway that she was lying about who she was, but luckily, Sally had gloves on her hands. She was a duel artist ever since Zell had recommended it to her and now she wore her gloves almost all the time as if to right anyone off who might dare to take Zell from her. Lina smile, back in her world, Sally was studying duel also, and she did it also because Zell had recommended it to her in the past, but she wasn't very good at it and Zell had felt like he had made a major mistake of that after Sally had tried to kill Lina so many times. "It's nice to meet you too," Lina smiled. Then she thought, That's so weird. Sally's so nice here. Does that mean that because of me Sally became mean? And because of me, Dan never came here...
"Well, I better get going now," Lina said, letting go of her hand and making a run for it. "You know the rush in the cafeteria." They both laughed.
