"Everything alright here?" Zell popped up behind them. Seifer's ears turned red with embarassment, not remembering that only he could read minds now. He stepped away from Lina so that Zell wouldn't think anything suspicious about them, leaving footprints...er...shoe prints in the soft white speckled sand.
"Yeah, fine," Lina said, still smiling. They returned to Garden, but right at the entrance where Miaka and Rikku. Miaka held a rope in her hand. Lina didn't take another step. "Uh," she said, looking around. "You guys go on ahead. I gotta go... somewhere else. Far away." She backed off, and then ran for her life.
Miaka and Rikku chased her, the rope in Miaka's hand was loosening and she held it high in the air. They watched as Lina tried to take off on Angel's back, but was then pulled down by a rope.
They all laughed and walked away.
