| Match 1 - Brian Ailshie Green Flash vs The Crime Lords Group AD - Chicago Subway System Brian: Moving along, let's see what these Crime Lords can do. Luthor has split his forces. He sends Jack the Ripper with Clyde. Bonnie he sent with Al Capone. Each pair was to hunt down a specific super hero. Luthor: I'm pretty sure that Jack and Clyde can handle Flash Gordon, if they do as their supposed to. Al should be able to stop the flash if he uses the ray gun I gave him correctly. I just hope Bonnie keeps her trap shut. As to the Green fool, we'll have to handle him together. Brian: Well, let's see if Luthor is correct. Jack sees Flash Gordon coming and lunges for him from the dark corner he was hiding in. The famed killer is no match for the hero however, and Gordon drops him to the ground. <RATATATATATATATT!> Brian: But Clyde steps from the shadows and his tommy-gun ends that part of the fight. Luthor (into his communicator): Ok, Clyde. Well done. Now meet the rest of us at the rendezvous. Brian: Elsewhere, Bonnie see's a blur coming at her, and tries to grab it. The Flash rushes past, slapping her across the face. Of course at nearly the speed of light, the slap pulverizes her head. <TWEEAAAWEERT> Brian: Al uses the speed ray that Luthor developed and freezes the Flash in his tracks. A quick slice across the throat ends that battle too. Luthor (again into his communicator): Great work Capone, I'm almost ready. Get to the rendezvous point. Brian: A few minutes later we see that The Flash and Flash Gordon are piled unceremoniously on the floor of a subway station. Luthor stands over them, a megaphone in his hand. Luthor: LANTERN! I KNOW YOU ARE OUT THERE! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO COME JOIN YOUR USELESS TEAMMATES. Brian: Suddenly Green Lantern comes running around the corner and throws a fist at Luthor hard enough to knock his head clear from his body. But what's this!?! The fist flies through Luthor and the Lantern is spun around with the force of the blow. Luthor: HAhahahahAAA! It's a hologram FOOL! You're DEAD! Brian: Suddenly the three remaining Crime Lords leap out guns blazing and tear into the Lantern's body. But what's this!?!? After the first shot the Lantern fizzles into nothing and disappears! The Crime Lords, already shooting, hit each other and die. Green Lantern: It's a Green Lantern construct Luthor. I'm afraid it's YOU that's dead. Brian: Luthor & Co. just can't win. Winners: Green Flash (2-0) Crime Lords (0-3) Match 2 - Robert Newell House Harkonnen vs Heroes of Lonely Mountain and Dale Group U - Arakeen City, Arrakis The dwarves battled with all of their might, but their axes refused to bite through the Harkonnen's Holtzmann shields. The Beast Rabban killed Fili and Kili with two massive blows and bellowed in exultation. Feyd Rautha shook his head at his dim-witted teammate as he stuck his white blade into Thorin. The white blade is not supposed to be poisoned, but Feyd Rautha never played fair. Thorin died rather painfully as the poison worked its way through his system. Feyd was chuckling to himself as the Black Arrow lodged itself into his chest. Bard's magic arrow had found the gap in Feyd Rautha's shield and ended his pathetic little life. But with the Black Arrow expended, Bard had no way to attack the other three Harkonnens. He went down under slow pellet stunner fire and died under the blade of one of the Sardaukar's blades. Winner: House Harkonnen (1-2) Heroes of Lonely Mountain and Dale (1-2) Aes Sedai secure the #1 seed of Group U. They will face Maximus and his 3-1 Gladiators. ps in last week's match of the New Dragon Army vs The Avengers, Thor and Quicksilver were the ones who survived on the Avenger's side. Match 3 - Brian Ailshie Young X-Men vs TMNT Group Q - Gotham Sewer System John Madden: This one happened really fast. Let's look at it in slow-motion. The T.M.N.T. show up together on one side of a large sewer chamber, the Young X-Men appear together too, on the other side of the chamber. Ice-Man strikes first and he freezes Raph. Pyro is only a moment behind him as he burns Mike. Leo and Don are quick though. Leo leaps at the fiery X-Man and slashes Pyro to ribbons. Don is nearly as fast and hits Ice-Man with his Bo Staff. Rogue screams in fury and grabs Don by the throat. The turtle spasms in pain as his life force is drained from him. But Leo is still on the move, he cuts the girl down and now he stands alone in the chamber. Until . . . <Bamph> Leo is knocked sideways, <Bamph> Leo is hit from behind, <Bamph> Leo is stabbed with a knife in each leg, <Bamph> A tattooed blue hand grabs Leo's sword and jabs it into the turtle's face. Match over. Brian: Now don't forget to clear all that marker off the board John. Madden: Certainly sir. (He taps the screen and it disappears.) Winners: Young X-Men (2-1) TMNT (1-1) Match 4 - Brian Ailshie Great Cops vs Outlaws Group Y - Tombstone, AZ Lucas: Here we go! A nice, old-fashioned, western, gun battle. This aught to be fun! Mr. Obvious: If you were the one getting shot at, it wouldn't be fun. Lucas: Well there is a reason they call you Mr. Obvious isn't there? Mr. Obvious: That should be clear enough by now. Tolkien: Let's get on with the match can we? Riggs and Murtaugh leave the town hotel and see some of the outlaws in the road. Riggs leaps for cover shooting as he goes. Murtaugh ducks back behind the door of the hotel. Jesse James, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid also leap for cover on their end of the road. Sundance doesn't make it though as Riggs' 5th shot catches the Kid in the shoulder spinning him around, and Murtaugh's 3rd shot takes him out. Lucas: Bullets ricochet and fly all over the town. Murtaugh flinches as Sgt. Hunter runs in from behind him. Murtaugh: What took you so long? Hunter: Had a run in with Billy the Kid. Murtaugh: What happened? Hunter: He got Didi, but I got . . .Urrghkkth Lucas: A bullet catches Hunter in the throat and he goes down. <BLAMM> Riggs: I got Cassidy! Just one more now. Murtaugh: Cassidy got Hunter, and Billy the Kid got McCall. But I think Hunter got Billy the Kid. Riggs: That's good. So now it's 2 on 1. <BLAMM> Murtaugh: Make that 2 on none. That's one less Outlaw in the game. Riggs: Nice one . . .LOOK OUT! <BLAMM><BLAMM> Lucas: Riggs is hit in the chest and slumps over the water barrel he was just starting to stand up in front of. But he did get a shot off and it knocks the gun from Billy the Kid's hand. Tolkien: It seems that Hunter must have meant "I got away" Billy's hand hovers over his second gun holster as Murtaugh's head does his little twist before he fires. Lucas: Billy the Kid, fastest draw in the west, is too fast. He takes out Sgt. Murtaugh, the last of the Cops, as he aims for the last of the Outlaws. Winners: The Outlaws (2-1) Great Cops (0-2) |
