| Match 1 - Brian Ailshie Pirates of the Carribean vs Disney Heroes Group L - Disneyland Park Buzz Lightyear: Tarzan, Phillip, Aladdin; You two take out Red Beard and Silver. Genie, you know what to do. Peter Pan, you're with me. Walt Disney: And with that said, the Heroes move out. Let's follow their leader to see what he has planned. Climbing onto Peter Pan's shoulder, they fly (not fall with style) over Tomorrow Land, then Main Street USA. Buzz: There they are Peter. Remember, just distract them for a minute. Disney: Buzz leaps from Peter's shoulder, extends his wings, and glides (now it's falling with style) toward the pirates. As he drops on them he lands on Will Turner. Jabbing his left wing, he scratches the 'pirate' on the chest and yanks at the medallion hanging from his neck. Turner: Hey! That thing just cut me! Barbossa: Never mind the scratch boy! It's got yer medallion! Sparrow: Quickly now, your gonna lose it in the bushes. Disney: That's when Peter dives in, crowing like a rooster. The Pirates swing their cutlasses at the eternal boy, and miss. Turner only glances up for a moment, then continues hacking at the bushes. But the moment was enough, Buzz is gone. Barbossa: There he goes over by them trees. Disney: The Pirates run up Main Street, turn the corner into Adventure Land, when suddenly a huge blue cage drops on them. Genie: Gotcha! Disney: Peter Sweeps down, picks up Buzz, and heads off into New Orleans Square. Now let's get back to our other heroes. It seems that Long John Silver has managed to cut down the king of the apes; but Phillip was there to take him out. Now it's Red Beard against Aladdin. The diamond in the rough is dodging and moving, giving Phillip time to rejoin the fight. And down goes Red Beard. Aladdin: Ok, now we go find Genie! Disney: By the time Aladdin and Phillip find the Genie in Adventure Land, Peter and Buzz have returned. Buzz: Ok Genie, the coin has been returned. We can take them out now. Disney: My heroes won because they watched and knew the secret for the pirates! Mark: Weren't the Pirates 'yours' in a way as well? Winners: Disney Heroes (2-2) Pirates of the Carribean (0-3) Match 2 - RJ Harris New Jedi Knights vs. Disney Heroes Group L--Disneyland RJ: Well this is another quick one. I mean no offense to Mr. Disney, but these are trained Jedi battling slightly flawed at times cartoons. (Lucas looks smug)--it was over quickly, the Jedi are in this to fight after all. And with that said we have another 3-1 team, and they will take the #2 spot. Before we head out to the next match though I would like everyone to introduce my friend Heidi to everyone. Say hello Heidi. Heidi: Hello Heidi. RJ: Hey, it looks like you'll fit in well here. Enjoy the Tournament and I bet we'll see matches from you soon. You can formally introduce yourself then. Winner: New Jedi Knights (3-1)--clinch #2 spot in group; Hulkmania is #1 Disney Heroes: (1-2) Match 3 - Brian Ailshie Iron Men vs Robot Cops Group X - Downtown LA Brian: The Iron Men look pretty upset. Mr. Statistics: Well, some might think them losing 3 straight matches is an upset for the Iron Men. They don't want to drop all four matches. Brian: Of course, neither do the Robot Cops. But one of them will. Anyway, this match is underway. Iron Man jumps down and tackles Robo Cop. It's team captain against team captain. As they struggle, the $6 Million Man and the Bionic Woman find Penny and Brain. The fight is over quickly. We won't go into the gruesome details. The Iron Giant has wandered into the battle, stepping on Inspector Giant in the process. He sees Robo Cop and Iron Man fighting. Turning on his lasers, he tracks the fight, then shoots a few holes through Robo Cop. Mr. Statistics: And there you have it. The Iron Men may have only won a single match, but they won it flawlessly. Winners: Iron Men (1-3) Robot Cops (0-4) Match 4 - Brian Ailshie Swashbucklers vs Hollywood Action Stars Group J - Sci Fi Movie Set John Madden: Zorro starts this one quickly by firing his pistol. The shot takes Arnold from the fight. The masked hero then joins Inigo and the Man in Black in a sword charge. Clint Eastwood and Jean Claude go down, but Chuck Norris catches Inigo's blade in his hands. A quick jerk and the blade is pulled from the Spaniard's hands and clatters to the floor. A harsh karate chop to the neck and Inigo crumples to the ground. Now it is the two black clad swordsmen against Norris and Jackie Chan. Andy Katz: Meanwhile, Fezzik and Mr. T have been slugging it out. Both look dazed and battered, as they wobble on their feet. I'd guess whoever survives that battle will be easy prey for the winner of the sword fight. Madden: Speaking of which, Jackie just missed a leap and caught Westley's sword in his chest. At the same time, Chuck Norris repeats his sword catching trick on Zorro. However, before he can land a killing blow, Westley cuts him down. He and Zorro run to help Fezzik. The gentle Giant is nearly unconscious, but Zorro steps in and finishes the match. Winners: Swashbucklers (2-1) Hollywood Action Stars (0-2) |
