| Match 1 - Brian Ailshie Terminators vs Robot Cops Group X - Downtown LA Lucas: The TX Terminator from T3 uses jabs her tech control device into to RoboCop and takes over his robotic body. He and Inspector Gadget launch into a fierce battle with each other. Tolkien: Meanwhile she and her fellow Terminators rush off to find and finish off Penny and Brain. John Madden: They find the pair in the lobby of a hotel. Penny attacks the T1000 with a flying karate chop. Of course this does nothing to the Terminator, who grabs her and snaps her in half. Brain tries to run, but doesn't get far. The T800 grabs him and ends his battle. Lucas: RoboCop has finally finished off Inspector Gadget. Sensing that, the TX marches him to the Terminators, and they quickly tear him apart. Winners: Terminators (3-1) Robot Cops (0-3) Group Break Down Iron Men: 0-3 Terminators: 3-1 (tie breaker score= 1) A-Team: 3-1 (tbs= -1) Robot Cops: 0-3 Big Monsters: (tbs= -4) Even though the Iron Men still have to fight the Robot Cops, that fight is irrelevant, so here we go. With the highest tie breaker score, the Terminators get the #1 spot for Group X, and The A-Team gets the #2 spot since their tie breaker score is next highest. Big Monsters has a tie breaker score of -4 which is lower than Kurgan's Killers tie breaker score of -2. So the Wild Card race now stands at Kurgan's Killers with the #1 spot and Big Monsters as the #2 spot. That bumps the Order of the Pheonix (2-1-1) down to the #3 Wild Card spot of course, and we'll have to see how the multiple tie of 2-2 records works out for our #4 Wild Card position. Match 2 - Robert Newell The Masters of the Universe vs The Masters of Evil Group H - Castle Greyskull Robert: What is it with pathetic little groups calling themselves the masters of evil? They are so pathetic. And has He-man ever lost to these losers? Alexander: I don't believe so. All he has to do is raise that sword of his, say "I have the power", and this match will be over. Robert: Sure enough, it was just about that easy. He-man has massacred his opponents in record time and thus avoided a sweep. The so-called "Masters of Evil" are ignominiously dumped onto the dustbin of the Rumble. Winner: The Masters of the Universe (1-3) The Masters of Evil (0-4) Match 3 - Brian Ailshie TV Cops vs Special Agents Group AD - Chicago Subway System John Madden: Now this one is full of action! James Bond and Jon Anderton leap in and tackle Crockett and Tubbs. Anderton cuffs each of them, while Bond hog ties them to a bench. Anderton: In the name of the Pre-Crime bureau of Washington DC, I arrest you for the future attempted murder of myself and Agent 007 here. Jason Bourne: Nice work boys! <*BLLAAAMM*> <*BLAAMM*> Madden: Woah! He just blasted both of the Vice boys in the head. Anderton and Bond start to scream at Bourne for killing two arrested suspects, when Magnum PI joins the fray. His first shot ricochets high off a station sign, but his second shot takes Anderton in the chest. Bourne leaps to the side and shoots back as he slides along the ground. The third shot drops the mustached investigator. Bond: Well done boy, well done. Bourne: Thanks I . . . LOOK OUT! Madden: He pushes Bond to one side and leaps the other way as a small explosive (made from a tube sock, a stick of gum, a lightbulb, and some duct tape) drops to the ground courtesy of MacGyver. Bourne catches most of the shrapnel, and drops off the side of the station platform to the tracks. MacGyver leaps in and kicks Bond toward the opposite tracks. But Bond is no weakling. He fights back, and lands several of his own hits. Finally, the English Agent lands a karate chop on MacGyver's neck and he drops. Ethan Hunt: I took out the girl already, so now we've won this. <*BLAM*> Madden: He shot MacGyver! Winner: Special Agents (1-0) TV Cops (0-1) Match 4 - Robert Newell The Jedi Knights vs The Rohirrim Group H - Castle Greyskull The duel between Anakin and Theoden didn't last long. Anankin's lightsaber made short work of the Lord of Rohan's sword. Right before he was to strike down the old man he heard a voice behind him command him to stop. Eomer had disarmed Padme and had his sword at her throat. Anakin was enraged. No one would hurt his beloved, Anakin screamed, no one! He raised his hand and blasted Eomer with force lightning. Obi Wan saw this and confronted his pupil. He began to lecture him about how the Jedi could have no "beloveds" and that force lightning was a weapon of the Sith. Anakin was not thinking straight with the dark-side power flowing through him. Obi Wan was only trying to steal Padme from him, he thought to himself. "No one will take her from me!" raged Anakin as he attacked his friend. Obi Wan was taken aback, but not so much as to fall to his padawan. The two Jedi dueled ferociously as Padme looked on screaming at them to cut it out. While all of this was going on, the Rohirrim had regrouped. They were ready to exploit the disaffection in their enemies ranks as soon as the duel was over. Eventually, an exhausted Anakin struck down his master and erstwhile friend. Upon the blow, he came out of his rage and realized what he had done. As he wailed in anguish, he did not see the arrow that took him in the throat. In his death throes, he managed to kill three. Theoden and Eomer were blasted beyond recognition. Hi eyes dimming, and thinking that Padme was his female opponent, he strangled her with the last of his strength. It is a good thing he didn't survive to see what he had done. Eowyn began to weep over her fallen kinsmen. Winner: The Rohirrim (3-1) Loser: The Jedi Knights (3-1) GROUP FINISHED Group Break Down Jedi Knights: 3-1 (tie breaker score= 1) Sith Lords: 3-1 (tbs= 2) Rohirrim: 3-1 (tbs= -6) Masters of the Universe: 1-3 Masters of Evil: 0-4 Since the Sith have the highest tie breaker score here, they get the #1 spot for Group H. The Jedi Knights, with the next highest tie breaker score, take the #2 spot for Group H. The Rohirrim also have a 3-1 record, but are bumped out to the Wild Card race. Since their tie breaker score is the lowest of the three teams with a 3-1 record in that race, they now take the #3 spot in the race. The Order of the Pheonix, with a 2-1-1 record have a slight edge over all of the 2-2 teams who are now out of the running for a Wild Card. Match 5 - Brian Ailshie New Jedi Knights vs Disney Baddies Group L - Disneyland Park Luke: I can sense no good in the woman, The bearded guy with the staff, or the robot. Mara: So let's go take them out. Luke: Right. Leia, watch for the other two. Brian: So Luke and Mara leap into action. Their enemies are no match for honed Jedi skills. Jafar and Zerg are cut down in moments. Clayton fires a shot with his gun, and Luke stops it with his saber. Leia then blasts him with her blaster. When Capt. Hook jumps in, he is swiftly taken out as Luke and Mara advance on Malificent, now in Dragon form. She breaths fire, and Mara is singed slightly, but she lops of Malificent's head with a spinning leap, light saber extended. Winners: New Jedi Knights (2-1) Disney Baddies (0-3) |
