| Match 1 - Brian Ailshie Gargoyles vs PowerPuff Girls Group AA - Shrek's Swamp Brian: The gargoyles are strong, and fairly swift, but the sillyness of the PowerPuff Girls powers is not to be overlooked. They were a little scared of the grey monsters, but their fear melted away when Hudson skewered Blossom. Buttercup and Bubbles went on an angry rampage. The 'sweet' little girls moved like lightning, and packed quite a wallop! Brooklyn was sent sprawling into a rock by Buttercup, landing at an unnatural angle, and Bubbles caught Broadway about the same way! Bop-It voice: Dude! Brian: The girls then turned on Hudson together, and though he caught Bubbles with a glancing blow from his sword, they brought him down too. Goliath screamed in rage, but Buttercup lanced him with her laser vision. Bop-It voice: Do it the same, but uh . . . Better! Winner: PowerPuff Girls (1-1) Gargoyles (1-1) Match 2 - Brian Ailshie Bounty Hunters vs The White Hand Group F - Cloud City Brian: I'm not sure what Saruman is thinking, he just sent the Ogre charging straight at the Bounty Hunters. The Ogre can withstand a fair amount of punishment, but the Fetts alone can deal out a barrage of weapons, never mind what IG88 and Zam added to the mix. There's not much of the Ogre left. Jango: I said Boba and I had him. What did you two fools shoot for? IG88: I'm a part of this team too. Equal work for equal spoils. Voice: Yeah! You need to treat us better. Jango: I'm the team captain! You'll do what I say, how I say, when I say! Understood?!? Voice: Well maybe we need a NEW Captain then! Brian: Oh, I see what the Ogre charge was all about. It was cover for Saruman to move in and get to work. Now he's using his persuasive voice to break up the unity of the Bounty Hunters. Comic Book Guy: And that shouldn't be all that difficult considering that two of the Hunters killed the other two. <*BBRAAAAAMMMM*> Brian: And there it goes. Jango just lost his cool and blasted IG88. Zam reacted just a hair faster than Boba, and jabbed a knife into Jango's thigh. Boba blasts her in the face at point blank range. Changeling splatters all over the wall. However, the knife must have been poisoned because Jango just keeled over. Boba: DAD!!! Brian: Boba Fett kneels by his clone/father. A short sob issues from his helmet. <*BLAAAMM*> Brian: And Ugluk just finished it off. Boba slumps over his father's corpse. Remember that the knowledge gained continues to the next matches. The Bounty Hunters are going to have to deal with this dissension in their ranks in their last match against Solo's Smugglers. Winner: White Hand (3-1) Bounty Hunters (2-1) Match 3 - Brian Ailshie Fangorn's Friends vs Solo's Smugglers Group F - Cloud City Brian: Fangorn decided to sit tight this time, while Gwaihir scouts the terrain. After a few minutes of soaring around, Gwaihir floats down to the lord of the Ents. After a quick report, he streaks off again. TreeBeard: He says he doesn't see anything yet, but is going to try looking a little closer in some of those high-up windows. Beorn: Hope he's careful, I smell trouble. Brian: That could be the strong smell of Wookie he smells. Han and Chewie are closing in. <**BRAAZZZPP*>> Brian: WOAH! Gwaihir just got blasted out of the sky. It seems that Lando used one of the city's turbolaser batteries to blast the eagle out of the sky. Fangorn and Beorn watch the remains of their friend fall from the sky, and here come Han and Chewbacca. Chewie fires his Bowcaster which slams into Fangorn and starts him aflame. Beorn locks up with the Wookie while Han keeps a steady rain of blaster fire on the Ent, until he stops flailing. Mr. Statistics: Meanwhile, Chewbacca and Beorn are still wrestling. Chewbacca vs Beorn: Wookies can rip arms off, but from a were-bear? Perhaps not. Oh, I guess there's always a 'margin of error'. Brian: And with Beorn 'disarmed' Han and Chewie make short work of him. Winner: Solo's Smugglers (3-0) Fangorn's Friends (1-3) |
