THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION
Released March 13th....Listening to this album, although I know all of the tracks, well apart from the two bonus ones it`s so good to have a collection of songs from Russell previous 4 mega selling albums
20 tracks from the beautiful
Nella Fantasia, the very dramatic Il Gladiatore, to the magnificent  Barcelona with Shaun Ryder.Lots of variety to satisfy all Russell fans old and new.
Beautiful pictures on the sleeve and inside and a very nice dedication to fans, friends and family.
The two bonus tracks firstly the Whitney Houston classic from the film The Body Guard,
I Have Nothing...very different from her version a lot softer,it`ll certainly appeal to all the ladies...the intro reminds me of a the old sixties style ballads big intro with the piano but it does work very well.Russell`s voice is fabulous as usual certianly hits all the right notes with me.This is a winner!!
The second track
Can`t Help Falling In Love... we are all used to hearing Elvis sing this..but Russell`s version is simply beautiful, wonderful arrangment and really just gorgeous.
Fantastic album go out and buy it!! Certainly a
WINNER!!
ANITA EVANS REDCAR UK

AMORE MUSICA...ROSEMARY UK
Amore Musica is Russell Watson`s first album since his dreadful experience of nearly loosing his voice, which gave him many dark days of waiting for an operation to save it.He decided that if `God` granted him recovery and `one more chance` he would change everything in his life up to that date.He did recover and kept his word.
This album contains 13 songs whose music and lyrics are unusual and very beautiful. His wonderful voice, with it`s mixture of power, deep richness, and gentle sweetness, together with the way he conveys the meaning of lyrics make each song something to treasure.
There are various types of songs among them, some very personal for instance."You Raise Me Up" to Roxana who was with him all the time.Another to Roxana is "You`ll Still Be There For Me"for which Russell helped to write the lyrics. And I think another song with a personal application is "We Will Stand Together" for his close friends who stood by him during his ordeal and aftermath.
There are all sorts of love songs and finally, "I Believe" and" La Fiamma Sacra" which look outwards to the state of the world. His performance of his own creed "I`ll Walk With God" is outstanding.
Everyone is invited to visit his website, where they can see,and read much about Russell, particularly"The Story" and The Documentary Video where he talks about the making of this lovely album.
REPRISE
What a marvellous Cd. Russell has done it again,he is truly geting better and better. I have to admit I have never been an opera buff and there may be critics that say "that is why you think he is so wonderful"But really, isn`t it more important that he moves us and reaches us with his voice and draws us into the feelings and stories
And the pop tunes they are welcome.ones I can memorise and sing along too.Nothing Sacred, I Don`t Know How I Got By, and Bohemian rhapsody, and now the two new ones of opera. I am actually thinking of going to an opera now something I would have never done before Russell
The selection of songs on the CD is briliant,Torna a Surriento,I can see him walking on to the stage for this one,the orchestra`s intro is so soft and inviting.Granada.oh the excitement of the bull fight. Ole!! bravo Russell you take me to Spain. Santa Lucia the intro brings me to tears before he even sings a note,He holds the notes so long and is so powerful and full of sound. That`s Amore!! What a fun, light hearted number,I had to listen to it several times to assure myself Russell was really singing.Such a talented voice on this CD there is something for everyone.
One of my very favourites is Questa o quella such a fun lively song, after seeing this on the Leeds video I am so happy to see it on CD.Love the violins, the orchestra is wonderful.Makes me want to conduct as I drive along. And the pop tunes they are welcome, ones I can memorise and sing along with.Nothing Sacred,I Don`t Kow How I Got By, Bohemian Rhapsody, and now two new ones. The Living Years, and The Best That Love Can Be  with Cleopatra.I was not familliar with any of them before Russell,I didn`t know actually which were older songs. The Living Years is especialy moving and makes me cry.He has such control over different voices. It is so soft in this one.And what a joy for Russell to have his daughter Rebecca singing with him,Congratulations Rebecca!!
The song I had never heard before  but had heard about it from his website was The Pearl Fishers Duet,I was so moved I almost had to stop the CD.A powerful orchestra and the voices perfectly matched of course.Such an amazing talent.I perfer Russell doing a duet with Russell.
La Danza had me trying to breathe for him, makes me want to dance.I love the change in tempo.Vesta la Guibba,a mournful pasionate song and Russell portrays this magnificently.
Russell has earned my respect and the respect of many many others.Thankyou Russell for all your hard work and dedication, thanks also to the orchestra and evvryone else, the backing singers, the childrens choir and William Hayward.YOu have all worked so hard to give us so much pleasure.
THankyou!! Thankyou!
