The plot of this comic picks up after "Friday the 13th VI", with Jason chained in the lake.
A factory dumps their toxic sludge in Crystal Lake, then the lake is drained Jason and all, and the waste is shipped down to Texas.
Jason escapes, and jumps the train, then eventually encounters the Sawyers.
Suffice it to say, Jason and Leatherface eventually fight.
Now, we see that Jason has been mutated by the toxic waste into the Jason we see in "Jason goes to Hell", and the series ends with Jason roaming free, and headed on foot back to Crystal Lake, so this seems to imply that it leaves off at the begining of "Jason goes to Hell".
That means this comic is set in an alternate timeline that ignores Fridays 7 and 8.

I'd rather it have been consistant with accepted continuity, than forcing the audience to choose timelines, but ah well.

Anyway, it's a pretty good comic.
