**SO you wanna hear about the founding of Fanning Boyd!? Well, that's actually a funny story...
**There comes a point in everyones life when we feel the urge to break out of our tedious living routine and find something to do, a hobby, if you will. This happened to me a few weeks before the premier of FOTR. I had gone to work with a friend and was abusing the internet privladges she had given me so that I may look up everything to do with the LOTR movies about to come out. This is when I cam across a picture of Billy Boyd stannding on what appears to be a balony in a kilt (see About Me for a better understanding of my kilt fetish). I was awe struck.
I guess you could say the bug bitten me then. I was off on my search for anything and everything the net had to offer on this "Billy Boyd" character. And when FOTR finally came out and I was able to see first hand Billy's portryal of Pippin Took, I was taken aback! He had perfectly become what I had invisioned Pippin as being as I had read the books and had the books read to me by my mother. I had found my "hobby".
Now, you may be wondering why it has taken me over a year to start a site. This is mainly because I had no access to the internet short of the public library. But while I was waiting for the net, I did start writting a series of short stories based on a rather delusional dream I had one night that Billy and I were best friends. The series is called Billy and Me and I'll be posting it on the site as soon as I'm done tweeking it up a bit.
And that's the story of Fanning Boyd!. Ok, ok! So it wasn't all THAT funny. I guess you had to have been there...
