I was beginning to think this one was jinxed..LOL!! After getting the rub down done a week or so ago I spilled thinners on it & had to rescue the bottom side & top. I was moderately successful. You will probably pick up the patch on the back since it was affected most.

Finish Neck:
Water-soluble dye stains on timber, then 'hard’ shellac. Satin finish as per p64
Polishers’ Handbook. Headstock rubbed to gloss.
Body:
Feast Watson Proof Tint - Red - in 'hard' shellac then sprayed with
nitrocellulose lacquer. Rubbed to gloss.

I used it at a wallpaper jazz gig this afternoon & it was fine. Rolled off a fair bit of treble & it was sweet!!
Of course it just rocks on "Highway to Hell" LOL!!
This finish is an improvement over the finish on the LPS (even though the flame is more eye catching) probably because I had a better idea of what I was trying to achieve. ( No Rub Throughs)!! I hope I can take the CS336 a step further. Should be soon now.
My soldering is still rough as guts,...but hey..it's sticking!!
