Photos of Rub outs so far. I used Dan Erlewine's process (pg 276 Guitar Player Repair Guide) with Meguair's Mirror Glaze 2, then 9, then 7 after wet sanding to 1200 grit with paraffin.

...it really DOES look this good. LOL!! There are flaws but I'm not telling you where. My wife had to physically drag me off to lunch to stop me rubbing it!! The back has to cure for another week or two. I don't know whether to go for gloss or satin on the back & sides.
Satin finish (as per pg 64 A Polisher's Handbook) wet sanded to 600 grit then rubbed with 000 steel wood loaded with U-Beaut Polishes Traditional Wax. It really doesn't pick up finger marks & feels 'dry'. Amazing. See: U-Beaut Web Page - Traditional Wax

The necks look better in real life...and I have to confess in the cold light of day I found two or three more thankfully SMALL rub throughs on the sides of some of the headstocks & one on the neck heel. I will live with them.
Page List - Much less editing doing it this way. LOL!!
