Fantasy Football - 2009 Season
Each League will be composed of a maximum of 12 teams. This contest will conclude with the end of Week 16 of the regular NFL Season. Week 17 will not be included in this year’s Fantasy Football season. A total of 18 players will be selected in the draft. The starting lineup each week must be submitted via the League Website prior to the 1st Game. In the event of a team not submitting lineup changes, the lineup from the prior week will be played. The exception to this rule is if a player started in the prior week has a bye in the current week AND the team has only 1 “viable” substitute, the team will be credited with points earned by the active substitute.
The starting lineup will be composed of:
·
1 Quarterback
·
1 Place Kicker
·
1 NFL Team
·
1 Tight End
·
2 Running Backs
·
3 Wide Receivers
·
1 Flex Player (RB or WR, or TE)
The cost of a franchise in the league
is $250. The entry fee covers the cost
of 10 future player transactions, initial funding of the Weekly Cash Pool,
internet expense, and other administration costs.
Franchises will be allowed unlimited
pickups and trades. A fee of $10 will be
charged for each move. A credit balance
should be on account in the Commissioner’s office to cover moves. Funds not used will be returned at season’s
end.
The League Web Pages will be used to make moves, enter weekly lineups, access weekly results and provide other pertinent NFL data:

Nevada League - http://www20.myfantasyleague.com/2009/home/33038
The team having the lowest accumulated
total will have priority on moves made up until noon on Friday. For players involved in Thursday games,
preemptive moves may be made up until noon on Wednesday. Moves made for players will be on a “first
come - first served” basis after noon on Friday (or Wednesday of weeks having
Thursday games) up until game time of the first Sunday game.
Trades between teams must be for
relative equal value and receive the Commissioner’s approval. No trades are allowed during the last 2 weeks
of the season. The draft order for this
season’s draft will be determined by random draw.
A cash pool will be established to
reward franchises, which have the highest total points each week during the
season.
.
·
The cash
pool will initially be funded with $25 per team, provided from the entry fees
collected.
·
All payments from moves will be accumulated in
the weekly pool.
·
The total pool will be divided by the 16 weekly
winners.
All money owed at the end of the season is to be paid to the
Commissioner within one week of the final regular season game! Failure to comply with this rule could
result in suspension from the league in future years. The maximum loss per franchise is $700. In the event a franchise loses in excess of
$700, the winnings of franchises finishing the season in the black will be
prorated to cover any excess losses.
