He sits in his office with a bunch of onis running around, stamping paperwork. Most of the time, Koenma is with his faithful assistant oni, Saotome Joruji(Is it George? His name is Ogre in the dub). Another loyal assistant is Botan, the bubbly ferry girl. Koenma's first appearance was when Botan brought Yuusuke to his office, when he died. Yuusuke laughed at Koenma's toddler form. (Botan whacked him with her oar.) Koenma also has a teenage form, which he uses in the Ningenkai, or just to look superior(even though his pacifier is still there). Even if Koenma fools around most of the time(like while watching matches during the Ankoku Bujutsukai), he can be serious in desperate times. When Enma Daiou sent an army of Class A fighters to kill Yuusuke, because they found out that he had Class S youkai blood, Koenma disobeyed his father. His father was angry and grounded him by banning him from the Reikai for a while. Koenma didn't really mind, he wouldn't want Yuusuke to be killed. The pacifier that Koenma carries in his mouth(okay, that sounded odd) is actually the most powerful item of the Reikai(is that right? that's what I heard). The technique he uses with the pacifier is called Mafuu Kan. He uses it against Sensui when all hope was lost(eventually, it'll turn out alright, of course). |
