| disclaimer/ i dont own anything relateing to dune or stargate bla bla bal you know the rutine ____________________Dune-Gate_____________________- Jack looked at General Hammond curiously not knowing how to respond to what General Hammond just said. So let me get this right you want us to go to a desert world just to look for some orange sand? Daniel asked. Yes. soon after a probe made it threw the stargate it detected a strange mineral in the sand ahead.General Hammond responded. Why not just send another probe in the pick it up? Jack asked. "Becouse every probe we have sent has been lost."General Hammond then turned on a local monitor showing the tape from one of the probes recorder. it showed movement in the small rock formation 1/2 mile ahead of it. it proceeded to roll out into the sand and take mineral samples. after this it started headed back at the stargate when the video feed started shaking. first slightly then in a few seconds it was shaking so bad the video feed went out. We will send Sg-1 along with Sg-6 and Sg-9. Sg1 will patrol the stargate. Sg-6 will collect some of this mineral. Sg-9 will explore the this land mass. "Sound like a piece of cake ".replied Jack. As they all left the briefing room. on the way to collect there gear Jack ran into Major Wilingstein. "Whoops". said the Major sarcastically. Colonel O. Neil ignored him. Him and Wiligstein had been rivals since there cadet days.alwas trying to out do each other in tests exercises ect.Wilingstein was about 5'8 with blackish brown hair, he had a scar that looked like a check mark under is left eye. Willingstein was flying near China when his spy plane crashed into a Chinese jet . Soposendly he was flying drunk. instead of a discharge they sent him to work with Jack. Wilingstein had been assigned to Sg-9. Before Jack could get to the equipment room. he heard General Hammond voice. "Jack i need to talk to you". "What is it sir."? "Its about Major Willingstein". "You mean the short,rat faced little--." "Yes Jack. I want you to try to keep your personal agendas separate from the mission." "Yes Sir." "Sg-1 proceeded to the Gate room along with Sg-6 and Sg-9. The stargate began dialing. Chevron 1 engaged. Chevron 2 engaged. Chevron 3 engaged. Chevron 4 engaged. Chevron 5 engaged. Chevron 6 engaged. Chevron 7 engaged. Fwoosh the Star Gate engaged. The teams proceeded Causionly up the ramp and into the stargate. __________________________CHAPTER 2__________________________________ They steped on to the hot dry Rock. In what seemed to be a large dark room they turned on there flash lights to find a hall way directly in front of them. the hall way was about 30 feet long and 10 feet wide. with lots of strange writing on the wall. At the end of the hallway were holes carved out of the rock big enough for two people on each side. they came out in what seemed to be a in a circular cave with a diameter of about twenty feet . some steps leading up 10 to a large platform and a open door. the stairs seemed to be wide enough for 10 people to walk up at the same time. "Major" .Jack said. "What"? Major Willingstein responded coldly. "Take your team up to that rock formation". "I Read the briefing. I know what to do." "Whatever." Said Jack trying not to lose it. "Captain Robert take your team and go get some sand." Jack Ordered "Yes Sir." Teal'c lets set up defenses. Jack looked back at Teal 'c who was already setting up an automated 50 caliber machine gun on the platform above them. "Jack, if you dont mind I'm going to take a look at that writing." Daniel said. "No. go ahead."Jack responded "Teal'c you want to come along"? Daniel. asked. "Sure Daniel Jackson . Teal'c responded. done with The auto gun. "Daniel and Teal" proceeded down the hall way. Sir. "I'm going to take some more readings". Go ahead Carter. With nothing much to do Jack walked up the stairs leaned back and yawned. In the corner of his eye he seen Sg-6 collecting some sand.He picked up the radio. "Sg-6 what percent are you complete? "30%. Sir". Jack looked out at the team. Which was about a half mile away to the north.. located about 2 miles east north east of the rock formation. Before he could say anything he seen some sand rising from the sand about a half mile away from the team. What the hell is that he thought to himself. "Captain get out of there." " 70% percent complete sir". " Get out of there." "But sir." That's a order captine. He turned of the radio and looked at the rising sand. "Jack took a drink from his canteen and looked out at Sg-6 only about a foot ball field out. the rising sand mass was only about 50 yards behind them. "come on come on". Jack said to himself. Sg-6 was only about 25 yards away. the sand mass was closing fast 25 yards away. They were ten yards away from the cave. "Oh god. I never turned off the auto gun."Jack Thought. before he could turn off the auto gun one of the men dived in. The auto gun fired and tore the first man to ribbons. Jack turned off the auto just before the second man jumped in. One by one they jumped in until they were all inside. Jack ran over to the first man. it was Captain Robert. his head shot right off. and the rest of his body torn to ribbons. Carter ,Daniel, and Teal'c heard the gun fire and came running out. "What is That."Daniel asked looking at the strange creature turn and slide away. " An adult Go'uld?" asked Carter? "I do not think so Carter Go'uld s live in streams and rivers not in the desert". Teal'c responded. " What happened Sir"? Asked Carter pointing at the bloody carcass that had once been Robert. "Captain Robert. Jack said slowly. "Sir any word from Sg-9"? Asked one of Robert's men. " No word from them." Answered Jack. "What now"? Daniel asked? "We wait the standard 48 hours for them to come back." Answered Jack looking at the sunset. _______________________CHAPTER 3_________________________________ Not much happened in the next two hours. they sent the remains of Captain Robert's back home. and brought in some more water. Jack finished with his job as sentry woke Corporal Sharpie. and walked down the stairs to find Daniel reading form one of his books. "Hey Daniel you find out any thing out about that writing"? Jack asked. "No not a thing i have cross checked them with all my books and still nothing".Daniel responded solemnly. Jack yawned, I'm going to catch some sleep wake me when the suns up. Jack said. Sure Jack. Daniel said. Jack laid down right at the foot of the stairs. He was only a sleep for about a half an hour when the phhhh phhhhh of a staff weapon awoke him. He snapped up grabed is weapon and looked up. a strange hooded man with a knife fell on him dead he shoved the body off him. He looked up at the stairs. 2 to 3 figures were lying on the platform he identified one of the as being Corpral Sharpie. The others he could not identify becouse there bodies were covered by strange looking robes.He looked back at the hall way where Teal'c and Carter were. He started running the thirty foot distance between him and the wall. darts and bullets landing on all sides of him. He jumped the last 3 feet into the hall way and rolled into the little side nook where Carter was, Teal'c was in the opposite one. "Carter." Jack screamed. "Carter."Jack repeated. "What the hell happened?"Jack asked again. "Why isint that fifty on??!?!??!?! We thought it was Sg-9 sir. Corporal Sharpie received the Sg-9's Signal so he radioed us. we got in here just after Sharpie went down. Carter Aswserd. 3 hooded men entered the door way. Phhh phhh Teal'c fired.Carter turned and fired at the hooded men then ducked back into the little nook.Whare is Daniel and Sg-6? Jack asked "There dialing up sir."Carter responded Jack turned and fired then ducked back into the nook. Phhh phhhh Teal'c did the same. another hooded men appeared and fired a rocket right Down at them. the rocket missed but exploded about 5 feet away from Teal'c. The concussion seemed to knock Teal'c right on the ground his staff weapon flew out of his hand and lay in the hall way. One of the hooded yelled something. and 20 of these hooded men came running three "Oh hell." Jack thought to him self while lifting his gun up to fire. Before him or Carter fire he heard someone yell what seemed to be an order. All of the men sheathed there knives and knelt. Jack lowered is weapon Carter did the same. since all of the men seemed to be looking down. Jack and Carter ran over to Teal'c who seemed to be stirring. He looked up and a man seemed to be walking towards them he looked back down and the man was right infront of him. "Carter"!!!! Jack screamed. he stood up and and tried to knee this man in the groin. The man grabed his nee and open hand punched him in the mouth. Jack fell back in to the hall way. Jack stood up and charged at the man, the man sidestepped needed him in the groin and open hand punched him in the face. Jack fell to the ground he reached for his pistol. A knife landed 6' away from his hand. he pulled his hand a way quickly. Jack cought a glance at where Carter and Teal'c had been, both gone down the hall way. The Man looked down at Jack and said. " Who are you to trespassing in fremen territory"? "Explorers from another world we came through a stargate."Jack responded "Show me this stargate. Or you will see how the freman deal with trespassers." Responded the man coldly "K."Responded Jack as he started walking down the hallway with the man's knife a inch away from in spine and his hand on his shoulder.The man was trailed by 15 of the hooded men. "You know you don't have to kill us you could just let us go on our way." Jack said. "And let you tell the Harkonens the location of this place" the man responded They walked into the gate room both Sg teams instantly came alert and drew there weapons. "No no its ok." said Jack. The men lowered there weapons, The hooded men rushed in from behind him and grabed the weapons away from the Sg teams, And put them in a pile in the corner. A hooded men that had trailed him spoke to the man holding the knife. "They are no Harkonne, Muad'dib". "They carry projectile weapons". "Sadukar? the man behind him asked. "Dose not apear to be Saudukar, Mau'dib The Muad'dib and the other hooded man continued talking to each other "Show us this stargate you talk about" The Mau'dib commanded loosening the grip on his shoulder "K." Responded Jack. "Carter" why arrant we dialed out yet? Jack asked "We were waiting for you sir." She responded. "Well I'm here." He said sarcastically. "Yes sir". She said walking over to the dial up console "You might want to move some of your men out of the way" Jack said pointing at some of the men standing in front of the thing. Muad'dib said something unintelligible to the hooded men infront off the stargate they did a head nod and walked away. Carter pressed the last key and wosh.the stargate opened. "Kaul Wahad". Said Mau'dib. "Swell aint she"? Jack asked. Mau'dib started walking towards the gate. When a man came screaming down the hall way. He kept screaming Something over and over again. The hooded men grabbed there knives shoved Maud'dib behind them. the man running down the hall way was hit by what seemed to be a laserburst and fell down dead. Then came the sound of thudering boots down the hallway. the hooded men unshethed there knives and hid at the side of the door leaving the Sg teams ungaurded. The men emerged into the gate room. they apeard to have some kind of med-evil armer on. The hooded men charged at the armer waring men. the hooded men cought them off gaurd and stabed the first two in the chest. the midevil men fired what seemed to be a flash gernade. The next couple of seconds were a blind blur. All the sg teams could do was stand there blind lisenting to the clash of knives untill the white blindness wore off. There seemed to be a lot of dead armerd and hooded men but more dead armered men. there was still heavy fighting acouring. Jack seen his opertunity and signeld is men to grab there weapons . both teams fired at a group fighitng armererd men. 3 fell on the ground dead more turned and fired there laser guns at 3 members of sg-6 killing them. the three reamenig of sg-6 went mad and charged at them with knives in air. "NO."Jack screemed at them. the armerd men easily killed the charging sg-6 members. one of the sg-6 memebers tried a slah at the one of the armered mans heart. the armerd man grabed is hand stabed him in the chest and shoved him away. the sg-6 man fell down dead. A another armerd man charged out at one of the sg-team members with knife in air. the man tried to copy what the other armerd man did to is friend and tired to grab the mans arm. But the man simply tosed the knive to his other hand and stabed the man in the neck. The third man stoped half way to the third armerd man and started walking back towerds sg-1 the armed man started walking towerds him. the armerd man pulled out a knive and fell down dead. there apeared to be some kind of dart in his neck. The freman who fired it fell down dead with a knife coming out of his stomic. The sg teams fired at the armored man , he fell dead under the hail of gun fire. The freman were pushing the the armored men back in the hall. Engaging in visous knife battle on the way. The Sg teams also pushed them back killing many of the retreating armored men. The freman had pushed the armored men to the main chamber they were hit with large streaks of yellow light and fell dead. The fremen fired back at them with there weapons. The Sg team hadent made it all the way down the halway when a large wite flash and a deafining roar . The team estictivly dropped down. When the flash vanished the teams looked up to see that the. The amored men were all dead or retreated. The team got up of there knees and raced towards Mau'Dib in the gate room. "Who the hell was that." Jack asked him. " The saudukar the most elite warriors in the universe. That is of course till we came along." All around him Freman were taking the bodies and soaking there blood stains with some kind of dish rag. "Just a sec." Jack told Maudib. Jack turned and looked his men" Go secure the perimiture." "Yes sir." The men turned and ran off towards the main chamber. "Um daniel i think this is your feild". Me Carter and Teal'c will go take a look around. Daniel dident even respond he was already in deep conversation with Mau'dib. Jack turned and walked towards the main chamber. |
