| Maria was walking around in the dessert when she felt a hand on her arm. She didn�t turn around; she knew who it was. �What do you want Michael?� she asked. �To talk to you,� Michael said back. �Go back, I don�t want to talk� Maria yelled. �Come on Maria, what�s up with you?� Michael yelled back. �Nothing� Maria yelled. Michael saw the empty look in her eyes. He walked up to Maria and took her into his arms. Maria was struggling first but then she let go. All her thoughts and feelings just went out of her; she couldn�t keep it in any longer. She clung on to Michael as hard as she could; she didn�t want to lose him to. Michael held Maria as hard as he could; he was not going to leave her like his father left him. After a while Michael released his hold on Maria. When Michael let go of Maria she felt so empty. �Why Maria?� was the only thing on Michael�s mind. �I can�t let you get involved because you would get hurt and I can�t have that, I care to much.� Maria said sadly. �Maria isn�t that my choice to make?� Michael said surprised by her admitting of feelings. �No, not when all I can think of is you; it�s distracting me� Maria said smiling threw her tears. Michael then smiled at her. �Maria, listen to me! It�s my choice, and I know the risk, and I�m in it for the long run� Michael said, trying to convince her. Maria smiled a little and felt more relaxed then she had in many years. Michael took her back into his arms and kissed her like it was the only thing he cared about. The kiss grew more and more passionate. ************ The next morning Liz woke up and felt arms around her. �Morning� a dark voice said behind her. �Morning Max� Liz said smiling at Max. �So how did you sleep?� Max asked. �Really good� Liz said and kissed Max. Just then Alex came into their tent. �Sorry, but Maria and Michael are not back yet� Alex said worried. �What� Max said, sure he was not surprised but still. TBC |
