It all began that night when she was tucked snuggly in her bed, dreaming those sweet dreams about Gundamwing, her favorite anime. She woke abruptly from that dream, looking around at the total silence in the house, not even the fan was running, that must be what woke her up. She stands and heads to the lightswitch to turn on the lights, but nothing happens, the power's cut? "Momma? Da, MiMi?" she heads to her parents rooms, only to find made up beds and empty closets. "Kina?!" she cries out for her puppy, but she's no where in sight. "Where did they go? Not even a note?". She sits at the phone in her grandparents' room and begins to dial a number, listening to the constant ring. "Oh please... please pick up... don't tell me everyone's abandoned me." Over and over it rings, still no answer. She tries another number, only for that one to fail also. again and again she desperately tries to contact someone she knows. As she dials the next number she hears a large blast... and then soldiers run into the room where she is.
"We've found her! Contact Lord Zechs!" the head soldier cries out to the other men as he grabs her by the arm and yanks her out of the chair. "You and your family have caused us alot of trouble. Tell me... where are the others?"
"I... I dont know... " she barely manages to studder that out as she shakes a bit, her eyes tearing as she squirms out of his grip. Two other soldiers quickly catch her and hold her there, the one she got away from getting right up in her face and teasing her.
"Ha! You're just a little girl, you cant do anything to hurt us." he taunts. Okay, he just went too far. There's no way she's going to let them win now, at least not without a fight. She then knees the man before her and just as the other two go to headbutt her she ducks, the two soldiers knocking themselves out cold. She then heads out the back door and silently makes her way across the porch, heading over towards her neighbors yard, but, what's this? They're not home either. Something strange's going on here. Just then she sees a few dogs chasing after her. In panic she trips, falling in a gravel driveway. As she lands on the rocks she hits her head and all goes black. |
