BEWARE ALL YE WHO ENTER

Miyu's Fanfiction Zone!

Updated on June 20, 2003 by Miyu-chan

Welcome to my Zone.  A place for my incessant ramblings and many, many fanfics.  This will probably always be a work in progress so please ignore the yellow construction tape and feel free to have a look around.

The zone hosts links to my anime (or Japanese animation) fan fiction stories.  Many of them can be found at STUDIO X along with many other stories by other authors.  Anime is a growing art form in Japan and, although animated, is treated like an actual media genre.  There are categories just like Live Action flicks (Action, Horror, Comedy, etc.) and most are directed more towards the young adult audience (over the age of 12).  Links to these stories can be found in my ANIME ZONE.

For those who are not familiar with anime, perhaps something more along the lines of American cartoons and comic books (X-Men, Jonny Quest, etc.) is more to your liking.  These stories are a few years old, but still worth a read in my opinion.  Links for those stories can be found in my OTR (Other) ZONE

Whatever your preference I urge you to take a leisurely look around.  You never know when you'll find something you like.  ^^

INCESSANT RAMBLINGS

As Of:  June 20, 2003

Just a bit of an update since my life is very, very boring at the moment. Oh who am I kidding, my life is boring all of the time. *sigh* I'm trying to get motivated to make some costumes for the upcoming Otakon 2003 in August, but I can't seem to find it in me. Oh well. I'll be properly motivated one week from the con when I KNOW I can't get anything done. =P Sucks to be me. Oh, and I've managed to get my grubby little hands on a few episodes of an anime called Spiral. From what I've seen it's pretty good. I may have to fork over the cash for the DVDs....

I guess that's it for now. Check out my Anime Zone as I've updated a few links, plus added some stories to my Fruits Basket page! Thanks for stopping by!

As Of:  May 30, 2003

I just returned from Animazement in Durham, N.C.  It was the 6th year for the con and my first year in attendance.  I very much enjoyed the convention.  It's not very large, but not itty-bitty either.  ^^  Their guests included Japanese seiyuu Asami Sanada (voice of Dejiko from Digi Charat) and Kyoko Hikami (voice of Rabi-En-Rose from Digi Charat), Japanese Voice Director/Actor Akira Kamiya, Japanese Director of Digi Charat and Kodocha Hiroaki Sakurai, Character Designer Yoshinobu Yamakawa, and English Voice Actors Tiffany Grant, Brett Weaver, Scott Houle and Pamela Weidner.  All of their panels were a blast and I was able to get a few autographs to boot.  ^^ Japanese Seiyuu Aya Hisakawa (Sailor Mercury of Sailor Moon, Yuki Sohma of Fruits Basket and Kerberos (Kero-chan) of Cardcaptor Sakura) was invited to attend.  While she couldn't be in attendance this year, she sent a wonderful video expressing her apologies and wishing everyone a good time at the convention.  I'm hoping they invite her back next year.  Heck I'm hoping _I_ can make it back next year.  I've promised to attend Anime Central in 2004 and they ran pretty close together this year.  Hopefully I'll be able to swing both next year.

That's all from my tiny corner of the world.  With any luck I'll be able to update on a monthly basis (if not quicker).  So until next time. . .CIAO!
