What is a Fanfic, anyway??
Fanfic is short for fanfiction. It basically is a story written by a fan, that either envolves the charecters of whatever the fan is a fan of, or the fan's own charecters in the world that the fan is a fan of. Ok, let me explain.
There are two types of fanfics: The first is what I call Fanfic With Charecters, or FWC for short. To use an example, say the fan is a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean. Then the fan would write a story using the given charecters (Will, Jack, Elizabeth) as his charecters.
The other type of fanfic is Fanfic With Other Charecters, or FWOC. This would be if the fan writes about Port Royal in POTC times, but uses their own, made up charecters. Got it? All righty, then, get writing!
