1. What got you started writing? I wanted to write fanfic for the sake of writing fanfic lol. I joined the OSMB way back when we had a lot of fantastic authors posting stories and I decided I wanted to be like them. So I started just after Requiem aired and joined the slew of post-Requiem stories that posted that time of year. After that, I was hooked and have been writing ever since. 2. What type of story do you like writing most? Oh dear, I don’t have one particular story type I like writing most. My fics have such a variety of style between them I can’t narrow it down. I do love to write MSR though, and I love angst. Anything that jeopardizes the relationship between Mulder and Scully, give it me! But I’m not limited to that, and find equal pleasure in fluff and emotional pieces. 3. What type of story would be hard for you to write? NC-17 is probably most difficult for me to write as I’m very unsure of myself in that category. I’m pretty fussy about it, it can’t be too crude, and the mood has to be absolutely perfect, else I won’t like it and won’t use it. So I don’t tend to write NC-17 very often just because I am that unsure about it. 4. Do you/have you use(d) a beta? If so, why? I’ve only started using a beta on my more recent stories, and I would never go back! My writing is much cleaner than what it used to be, not to mention she’s a great person to bounce off story ideas. My beta is a very important part of my work and I’d never attempt to post a piece without her sign of approval. She knows exactly how much she is worth to me. I’m so appreciative of her help that she even garnered a star role in one of my fics, as Mrs. Alvin Kersh *smirk*, not once, but twice! Seriously though, she always has very good taste in what is good and what isn’t…but don’t tell her I said that *g*, one of us with a big ego is enough, we don’t need two. 5. Is reader feedback important? Heck yes! I’d have never continued without reader feedback. I need to know that people out there enjoy my work. I’m rather self-conscious about it in many ways and reader feedback helps with my confidence level in regards to my writing. I don’t write entirely for the feedback though, it’s a very therapeutic activity and often relaxes me after a very hectic day or week. 6. Tell us something (unique?) about yourself. I like pink and I’m completely low maintenance lol. Okay, seriously, I probably have the most unique and interesting fanfic character resume around. My persona has been made into the Vice President of the United States, a journalism student (which I am so I doubt that counts), a housewife, the object of CSM’s affection *shudders*, several agents of the FBI, a jedi knight, a warden, and a license plate among others I’m sure I’m forgetting.
